I went to Best Buy, not knowing what brand or type of t v.I was interested in and What to help of the great staff, I stumbled across 55" TCL model 55S450G at a great price $269.99 or $299 with Roku. This tv had an awesome picture, Before I get into the google part, I want to start with TCL,- I didn't even know bur you get a lot of streaming channels a lot that come with the tv.; So much I couldn't believe it. .NOW GOOGLE I saw it said google t v.But I didn't know what it meant. Until I got home.. hooked it up and knew I was blown out of my mind on how cool And easy tv is. I personally think of google tv is the way to go, You can literally run your TV from your phone very easy. As far as settings, apps, casting, streaming services, It is the easiest of any t v.. Once you install whatever app you want on your TV from your TV or from your phone, you can just cast it when you watch it from your phone and you don't even have to sign into that app. On the tv, unless you want to keep track of your app history on the t.V. So i'm actually looking to get a bigger screen, but i'm definitely gonna be looking at t.C.L and google t v.

This is the second TCL tv I have purchased and they are so well made. The picture is outstanding and the connections are very easy to use. For the price, this is the best on the market. Highly recommended this product.

Great tv for the price. The Google tv software is a bit less responsive than the tcl Roku counterpart. Google also includes far too much “curated for you content” or what I consider bloat by collecting all your data. Likely why it’s slow to load. This is why I’m docking a Star. Other than that. Good quality picture, plenty bright, good refresh rate.

I purchased this tv when my previous living room tv crashed, and I am so glad that I did! I wanted to wait to write a review to be able to give a honest one. The picture quality is amazing. The set up was quick and easy. I previously had problems with my apps closing out, and I’ve not had a single issue with this tv! I love the Home Screen layout, it continently has the option to continue watching my shows from the different streaming services I use so I don’t have to go to each app and remember what I was watching and where it was. The layout is extremely user friendly, easy enough for my 6 year old to be able to get to her shows also! Overall this is now my favorite brand TV and I’m planning on buying another one for my upstairs room. 11/10 would recommend!

I purchased the TCL 55" TV and sound bar. The picture is so clear. I set to intelligent picture and sound settings and so far, is working great. I have tinnitus and age-related hearing issues and the background noises (loud music and sounds ect.) in shows and movies makes it impossible to hear what is being said. This TV doesn't cause those issues. I can understand everything. I don't have the sound bar hooked up yet, but it is supposed to bring the sound forward from the background noise as well. I will review that when I get it hooked up. I have made several big purchases from Best Buy, mainly because the customer service folks there are always so knowledgeable and helpful in the store and this purchase was no different. Everything worked just as I was told and I am once again a very happy customer. Thanks Best Buy

I have bought TCL TVs since they started making them. I actually still have their first Roku smart TV they made in our spare room from over 10 years ago and it is still going strong. I HIGHLY recommend Google smart TVs because they are fast and come with more options for apps and linking to phones. If you are a fan of FireTV, that is based on GoogleTV but with more unneccesary apps and bloatware. Get a Google TV and do the same and more. Did not realize this came with a basically free built in Satellite that uses the internet. They also just did an update adding 25 more channels to it. Good for local news if we ever need it. Picture quality is everything you need and for the gamers game mode mutes a lot of colors and warms the picture but it can be easily custimized to bring it back to a more vibrant look. The remote is quite large 9mostly tall) but the buttons are nice and it is lightweight. TV weighs very little and was easy to wall mount.

Hey I bought this TV and it was a fantastic price.! But when I got the tv out and set it up… I fell in love with it. The quality the picture the sound, the options, are phenomenal!! it’s an awesome TV!! LOVE it!

The picture is great but the volume is not so great expecially trying to listen to music it sounds all distorted and certain movies sound like ur in an echoy room n dont sound right... I also dont like the fact u can not get the spectrum app on tcl smart tvs. So therefor i have use the spectum app off my xbox to be able to watch spectrum... Also the remote is super touch if u accidentally bump the remote itll change the channel...if the volume was better and could get spectum app on it i would b giving a b 5star.

The TV is a great size. The colors are great to me. It’s on the original settings in 100 brightness and 50 color saturation in the pics. The TV is loud at 30. Lots of free streaming services with Free LIVE TV and paid streaming services. It’s great for games. I am a light gamer, no more than 2 hrs so yeah.. gaming all day or all night I wouldn’t know LoL. I had it delivered and it came in 2 days and within 30 mins to selected delivery time they allotted for me. The delivery guys were really nice and the TV came in tact. The delivery guys will ask you to give them a good survey because their job relies on it. Totally understandable. And they surely got a great review. Great purchase and worth the money. I also caught it when it was on Sale.

Looking at the reviews i was kind of hesitant in purchasing BUT im glad i did picture quality is good sound is good overall rating 5 stars! I definitely recommend.

I was a little skeptical because i don't usually use Google tv or TCL brand but this TV is incredible :) We're actually considering switching all the TV's in our home to TCL smart Google TV. Its so easy to use and honestly there's a lot more stuff on it that our previous Plug-In Firestick with the Not-So-Smart Older TV

In November I bought the 65 inch version for one of my rooms and in March I bought the 55 inch. I don’t like the sound in the 65 inch, even with a sound bar, maybe it’s the room. But the 55inch sounds great. I also have a 75 inch Samsung I bought for 6 times the price of the 65 inch, and maybe the sound is better, of course its a bigger tv, bit i think if I was going to buy another tv for another room I would get another TCL of same specs.

Not bad for the price range. Great autio and video options. Little average on picture quality.. pre installed aps lets you watch movies and live tv anytime. Added my Fire stick and no need for a second remote. Also controls smart devices like air conditioners lights.. I belive most Google smart devices aslo like the Bluetooth feature great sound quality.

I like this TV a lot. I am using it out in my shop which is really nice. The picture is very clear and bright and connecting to my WiFi was simple and works great. The sound on the TV is OK at best. I do have a Bluetooth speaker that I get connected to it when I use it and that works really well and has much better sound.

I had a few beginning problems connecting the TLC TV onto my DVR, but after a live chat with a Best Buy Agent, it was all resolved. The picture is great, the colors are bright, and the price for this great 55" TV was right for my budget. Having the choice to sign into Google TV if desired, is another nice plus for this TV.

Good tv for the price. My Hisense 4k tv stopped working after 2 years. This tcl 55” tv has a nice picture it’s no qled but the quality is better than my last tv hands down. To put into words of the my current experience the picture has better motion and clarity.

I bought this tv and im very happy with the quality and the exceptional performance and for the price you cant ask for more it exceptional i will be buying another one for my mother she will be happy thank you
