Delivered in Two days. The display quality is amazing for this Series-6 model. The Roku user interface is the best in the industry. I purchased this as a gift for my old mother and she had no problem learning to use it. It makes no sense to pay thousands more for Samsung, LG, or Sony.

I did a lot of research into choosing a TV for several months before I purchased it. I wanted one with an above-average refresh rate, and great contrast like that of mini-LED. This was the one that I chose over other brands like Samsung, LG, or Hisense because of the price point and addition of the Roku platform. It works very well - has a bright, well-balanced picture for high light spaces. I like the Roku streaming platform as well. The resolution of the TV allows us to watch streaming with a really high quality picture, really, I was surprised at how much detail on actors’ faces you can see with this picture. My advice for anyone getting this TV is to prepare to mount it into a stud because it is a little heavy for normal drywall, and it looks a lot better on the wall. We have our Bose soundbar connected so I can’t attest much to the TV’s sound except for what I heard in setup which was pretty good. Also, investing in a universal remote is advised since the Roku remotes work well, but are slightly limited due to their minimalistic design.

    DOESN'T SUPPORT DTS AUDIO!!!

My expectations for this TV were high after seeing the 2020 R635, and the 2021 R646 and the great picture quality and value. This TV looks good and almost improved upon the last 2 iterations, but has SERIOUS flaws. I spent hours testing features and troubleshooting and the deal breaker was it doesn't support DTS audio. This is a HUGE omission! Sure you can do Atmos pass through and emulation of other formats, but even with my xbox one x plugged directly into the soundbar, the TV somehow manages to block the passthrough of DTSX movies (which works on my old TV from 2016), so while you can passthrough Atmos, if you have a single DTSX movie (which is pretty likely), then it will fail to load until you disable all passthrough. You have to do lossy formats instead, including for atmos if you want all formats. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?! Beware, after researching other TVs of 2022, it looks like there are a few TVs following a trend of omitting DTS passthrough... Also, the AV (RCA) jack doesn't work. The sound comes through but the image is all scrambled like it doesn't understand how to process it. I've got older video game consoles that work perfectly on other TVs and inputs, but don't work on the AV jack and it's not either of my adapters. I think they just bank on nobody using it. When I called TCL support for both of these issues, they essentially wrote both off and there was nothing they can do. Also the CEC features don't work completely. the TV will turn on and off as necessary but it won't auto-switch inputs even though I've toggled that setting over and over. Do they even test these TVs? Minor note that the 144Hz is only for 1080p which I thought was very misleading. Also I think this panel is actually a 4096 x 2160 instead of a typical 3840 x 2160 4k because that was the default for PC on a few things and I was getting some weird formatting on various older 4:3 content. Just messes everything up by manufacturing the wrong size panel! Who's in charge over there? Also Roku demands you to set up an account to even use your TV if you connect to the net, which is so fascist.

Great mid quality TV for the price. A fast processor, great picture quality with HDR, a backlit mini QLED screen, Dolby Vision for deep blacks, vivid color, contrast and brightness options all produce an excellent picture experience and these features are in line with bigger name brand options that cost nearly twice as much or more. Built in Roku OS and the adjustable picture and sound features make this TV very simple to tweak some adjustments depending on what you’re watching, for the room lighting, etc. This is the second TCL 6 series 4K HDR TV we have in the two main rooms of our home, and I am very pleased with their performance especially considering the price point. We use this 65” in our bonus room/home theater room coupled with my Onkyo and Definitive Technology AV 7:1 Dolby Atmos system and it creates a great experience for movie nights or viewing sports events.

For the past price, this is a good TV. Deep blacks, colors do pop but regardless of any calibration attempts colors always are just a bit unnatural. 120hz works as advertised, this tv will run this gen consoles at their peak frames. This is a great tv for gaming and 4k content. SD content is a little weak. This tv is also heavy and bulky, barely fit (I mean by an inch) in a Subaru crosstrek. 65 in requires 2 to carry and setup.

I spent roughly three months going over reviews picking out which Tv I would like to buy. I got sold on this one due to the options, great reviews it had, and the very few bugs stated that it might have. I decided and bought on Tv I got home I ended up doing a warranty return as the screen would randomly flicker when HDMI was plugged in. Now keep in mind, I mainly have a computer plugged in and use the Tv as a monitor. But I also tried a DVD player, PS3, Chromecast, it would still randomly flicker, no matter which input I used or device. I have spent a total of about 6 hrs on TCL support doing various troubleshooting on top of hours spent on my own, with no resolution that would fix the random flicker issue. The second TCL support person (out of three) said that this Tv is mainly a streaming Tv and they can't guarantee the HDMI would work as intended.... what??? (insert head scratching confusion here) Warranty return through Geek Squad was a breeze and they were super helpful, way to go Geek Squad! Replacement set worked great for the first month and a half, and I thought I got a lemon the first time around. But to my dismay, slowly the flicker has been returning, which is a real bummer. Even in the time to write this, it's already flickered three times, and that's just to get here. It won't flicker when using any of the streaming apps, only when using HDMI. Don't get me wrong, the picture, when not flickering is incredible! I love the richness of color, the low lag, the crispness, all of the features, it really is an amazing Tv! Just really, really wish the random flickering in HDMI would stop. It makes watching movies and gaming really hard to enjoy. Some days it won't do it at all, and other days it's really, really bad (like 3-10 times an hr, and screen will go black for 1-2 seconds, or loose signal all together sometimes. If you game, that's long enough to lose a game). My computer is no slouch either, running an 12th gen i7 with 3090ti and a $60 high speed 4k HDMI cable, and it works fine on my other Tv, so I know it's not the computer. Overall... I still like this Tv. I want to Love it. I want to give it more stars. But I can't in good faith give it more stars, or recommend, unless the only thing you will be doing is using the apps. The HDR, Dolby Vision, and crispness is just so good! Even when using the computer, when it's having a good day. I'm still holding out hope that a future update will address the flickering issue as I don't have the money to get a different Tv. So if all you need is a Tv for app streaming, this Tv is it! The Roku app is user friendly, it has a fast processor, a great remote, and amazing picture quality! Just that darn flicker issue... it's real, and it sucks!

Purchased to replace a 2020 LG 65” NANO90. This tv is so much better. Much brighter and more crisp. Works great with Series X at 120 hz. Haven’t tried to push 144 hz yet, but will soon. Watched Thor, Love and Thunder on Disney and it is amazing. Really shows off the vibrant colors and local dimming zones. When they turn off, its as close to OLED as you can get. The new stand setup is nice and love the framing around the tv. I have the 65” R655.

One of the best TVs I've ever owned. I've had Vizios, Toshibas and as of recent, starting purchasing TCL tvs. We have a few in our home now and couldn't be happier. We are a fan of the Roku system and that was one of the reasons for purchasing the TCL r655. Another reason was the ability to do 120hz which is perfect for my XBox Series X. The stand is a big factor too. We have a smaller tv stand, and many TVs come with the wide legs, so I'm glad TCL has the center stand for this model tv. The colors are great, I'm not one to get too picky about color but I think this looks amazing. The brightness is really good as well. My tv is in the basement, so I'm not fighting with light coming in from big windows. One thing, not the fault of the tv, but I bought this TV as an open-box certified. So I was assuming it would be in the original box, or some box, with all the accessories, cleaned and prestine. I was wrong. This came from a store that was closing, but the TV was display model that came bubble-wrapped. It didn't have the remote, so an associate went and grabbed one. Also, after getting it home, it hand fingerprints all over. Looked like little kid fingerprints, probably from being a display model. But BestBuy made it right after I chatted with them online about the condition. So honestly I am pleased.

Good picture with nice black levels. Nicely build with small bezels and a nice single-leg stands. We don't use the built in Roku, so luckily you can choose a specific input that the TV can boot to if you prefer another media device. The only issue with this TV is the lack of a light-diffusing film over the screen, so this TV cannot hide from any reflections. Unfortunately, this was the only (decently priced) 65" Mini-LED TV's that could fit in our TV cubby (0.1mm clearance), so I guess it's a compromise. We got ours as a $500 open-box option, and if you're doing the same, just know that the original stand is nearly impossible to find, and costs around $200.

Setup (wall mount) and connections to associated equipment (e.g. receiver, Blu-Ray 1 & 2, WiFi) was done by two technicians from Geek Squad - Excellent service. This has been a very good TV, superb picture quality after tuning, which took a little investigation, to set it to "movie" mode. The only issue I had occurred during the periodic updates that were done in the background. There would be no sound on eARC to my receiver until I did a reset by unplugging the TV from the wall socket, waiting 10-20 seconds, and then plugging it back in. Fortunately that issue seems to have resolved, probably at TCL. I absolutely would use Best Buy and Geek Squad again for future TV installations.

Had this TCL 65" for a year now. It's great for Xbox gaming at 120Hz - smooth and responsive. Picture's still sharp, colors pop. Roku works well. Not high-end, but solid for the price. If you want a big screen for gaming without breaking the bank, it's a good pick. Been happy with it overall.

Picture is extremely clear and bright. The guide page works well. It syncs nicely with my AVR It has quirks. Pic will freeze and you need to shut it off sometimes by pulling the plug as it doesn’t power off. The remote is poorly laid out so I often hit the home button. Mute does not completely mute the sound! Looks good on the wall

I love my new tcl! I have had a 40 inch tcl in my bedroom for many years and have been very happy, So when i started searching for a new tv for the living room, i did alot of research, and then this new tv appeared. 120hz on two of the inputs allows me to hook up both my xbox series x and my ps5. I have my reciever hooked up via digital cable as i do not have atmos and i run a 5.1 suround so it works out great. My apple tv looks great! Picture is fantistic for sports, gaming and movies. If your running movies in hdr you need to adjust the brightness, but no big deal. I love my new series 6!

5/5 if you know what you are going into. I have LGs flagship OLED model but needed a cheaper option for a bedroom. While the contrast is not of an OLED, it’s daringly close. The mini led and zone technology is about as good as you can get without going OLED. A huge pro is that LED panels have much better uniformity than OLEDs. So this TCL vs a LG B2 you are likely gonna get a better panel out of the box and not have to return to find flawless panel. Another pro is that this is 1000$ vs 1400$ for a B2 or 1700$ for a C2. You also get Dolby vision and 120hz capability at 1000$ it’s an insane value. Processing leaves something to be desired but punches well above its grade and can be mitigated in picture settings. Purchase without hesitation and go with a bigger panel. 65in represents probably the best value when it comes to dimming zones.

Great picture quality and the fact that it can get up to 144hz is amazing, I play Halo infinite on Xbox series X and with the frame counter I’m running a consistent 120hz with it. Definitely the best bang for your buck TV and especially if you’re a gamer!
