It's very suitable for watching as a family at home. The picture results are clear, the sound is clear, and it's very good.

Quality of picture is very good. Requires some adjustment. Viewing angle good. Not equal to LG or Sony which are at a much higher price point.

Purchased this unit to upgrade from a previous TCL model (65R615) to get new features like VRR now that the PS5 supports it, and also for a PC that I set up for gaming in my living room. I've been waiting specifically for TCL to put out a new Roku TV with these features because I prefer the Roku interface, even if it's less robust than other options. I initially had some problems with audio cutting out from all sources, connected to my soundbar through eARC, and problems with random screen blackouts and distortion connected to the PC. I had the soundbar connected with an old HDMI cable and the PC hooked up with a HDMI 2.1 cable from a certain online "basics" retailer. Swapped all the HDMI with quality certified HDMI 2.1 cables and all my problems went away. Audio now plays without dropping out, DTS audio from my PS5 plays surround properly over eARC, and g-sync works great with the RTX 3080 in my PC. On the downside, there isn't a whole lot of picture customization available on this model, and the local dimming feature still crushes blacks more than I'd like, but it's not really all that apparent in general use. Most of the HDMI 2.1 features aren't enabled on inputs by default, and you have to set them manually for some reason, but these are minor gripes. Overall, it's got a great picture and works great for gaming and watching movies.

Our Samsung plasma we bought in 2010 was dying, so I started researching this new era of televisions. OLED, QLED, Neo QLED, all the different models and styles. I have been a Samsung guy for 20 years but all my reading and studies pointed me to the TCL Mini LED. AMAZING TELEVISION! We have been rewatching older movies, watching new releases. Everything looks amazing. I can't believe what I have been missing. We've had it for a month now and it amazes every day.

Fantastic tv for the money. TCL does a great job with these mini led and great value. Crisp bright picture!

Video quality is crisp. Issue with the software causes lag in video but works better with Google TV

The picture on this TV is definitely an upgrade from my 6-Series r613 from 2018. However, after spending multiple hours attempting to get it to work over ARC with the TCL Alto 8+ soundbar (changing cables/settings/etc.), I ended up having to return it. TV was updated to latest firmware (4317) at the time of this posting. Soundbar was also running the latest firmware (NA114). It did work with an older non-Atmos-capable Samsung soundbar when stereo mode was detected as available. However, it seems like that because Atmos mode was available on the Alto 8+, audio would be transmitted in Atmos mode regardless of what the digital output setting on the TV was set to, resulting in no sound at all and no way to get it to work. Even passthrough would not work. Your mileage may vary when using this TV with an Atmos-capable sound system. For me, this TV not working with my TCL Alto 8+ over ARC was a deal breaker. Hopefully, TCL can get this resolved.

This tcl tv is one of the best tv for the price. It has a nice picture and sound.

I love the picture on this TV. It is very good for the price. I have found an issue with the TV that I am noticing online is becoming an issue. The TV will not play live 4k, sports. Like the World Cup or College Football. From what I am gathering the processing power is not high enough to feed the live 4k. It will work for 5 minutes and then reload the feed or stop completely.

Over all its a pretty decent TV, the color is great on it but the sound is terrible you definitely need a sound bar for it

I did a lot of research to find the best 65" under 1K and this has been beyond expectations.

I had a difficult time in the beginning ordered four tvs. I loved the TV but kept turning off. I worked with the crew for two months. Four tvs and the Geek squad her constantly. Then an amazing fella sled me to check my current and set everythin to brand new extension cords. They provided them and WOW. For some reason that worked. They were amazing and I was less then kind. The Geek squad is an amazing crew that helps morning moon and night. Thank you
