Worked for about a year and a half, and then the screen developed several dead pixel columns within a few days. This is an adult household, we keep it mounted on the wall and don't move it or touch the screen so it's incredibly disappointing to see this lack of quality.

$1300 and 23 months later my tv is a brick. In researching the problem, it's prevalent across the internet, so TCL has to know it. They don't care. DO NOT BUY A TCL TV!!!!!!!!!

I did alot (hours and hours) of research before settling on this tv. I was very hopeful for this TCL tv because of all the positive reviews online but my tv did not seem as vibrant as the reviews mentioned. I also notice alot of motion blur which doesn't seem right if it is 120hz. The icing on the cake is the tv keeps giving me a red screen(see pictures) and sometimes stays like this for over 20 minutes and does not let me click on anything or turn off the tv. Best Buy Geek Squad had no suggestions and told me to return it.

I bought this tv on 10/10/20. It has been an awesome panel up until around 10/30/21. Approximately 20 days after the warranty ran out out the left side of the panel started displaying inaccurate colors . Reds look magenta on the left side and normal red on the right side of the panel. I have attached some photos of me playing Minecraft and the color difference for each side of the screen is very noticeable. Also any other color on the left side that isn't red just looks slightly washed out, or light in color. Very disappointed at this point.

Lasted less than 3 months. Delivered on 1/22 and completely broken today March 14. Display stared losing bottom third of the led's and developed three vertical lines of bad led's. One hour later screen 'snapped' and went dead developing what appears to be a small crack on the interior of the screen. Luckily BBuy support was excellent and they are coming to pick it up. Will not be buying another TCL. Also bought TCL soundbar which is average at best and cannot get it to default to TV EQ setting. Totally unimpressed with TCL performance and lack of quality

Why pay more for a mini LED TV? This one is great

What a great TV...why pay more for mini-led QLED 1440p! The TCL is less than HALF of other branded mini led televisions. Of course if the nameplate is important...TCL comes with ROKU and that is the easiest way to watch multiple streaming TV.

When it works it’s good! But increasingly (it started a week after it was delivered) the sound started acting up. There’s a very loud high pitched background noise that makes it impossible to watch anything. Because of it we have to continuously reset the tv which is a pain. We’ve also had connectivity issues with Disney+ and HBO - we tried to watch Wonder Woman 1984 and the movie was delayed so each image seemed to be in slo mo and the sound trailed behind. I understand ppl say it’s what you should expect for the price but holy cow, this is what I get for $1000? Also the reviews may be deceiving, unsure if reviewers are getting paid to give such high reviews. An interesting note: The delivery guys seemed to encourage me to keep the box for a return which in retrospect makes me think they knew they were delivering a lemon. Should have known better then.

First TV had the bad circular dirty screen problem others have noted but it stopped turning on after 10 days anyway. Returned it to Best Buy with no problems (Best Buy are great! I would only purchase tvs from them!!) Purchased a second, thought maybe The first was a lemon. Second tv has marks, scratches and smudges INSIDE the glass that are very distracting during day time viewing. You can’t watch hockey or sports in general on this tv, there are dirty spots everywhere. Very bad quality control I guess. I should have listened to my gut and stayed with Samsung. If you buy this tv put a grey screen on and make sure you don’t have the circular dirty screen problem, it gets worse over time!

It’s a really wonderful TV for the price, but I lost the so-called “panel lottery”. My tv has some dirty screen effect with dark blobs on the screen and some yellow Vignetting around the edges of the screen. Hopefully BB can make the return process hassle-free and get someone to deliver and setup the TV so that I do not need to go through the trouble.

This tv was less than spectacular. The Roku system is amazing, the TCL hardware not so much. Sound was decent for built in speakers although the audio would cut out intermittently. Resolution was crisp and colorful however the screen itself puts off an excessive amount of heat, ventilation not being an issue. After owning for 1 year and 7 months the LED panel started malfunctioning with flickering lines on the bottom of the screen. One month later and the tv fades to black after an hour or two of usage. Overall I am extremely disappointed. I loved the size of this tv and loved the simplicity of the operating system. I can’t believe that for the price it couldn’t even make it 2 years and even worse that TCLs warranty is only a year. I bought this GeekSquad Certified, and aside from having to go back and ask them for a power cable that they forgot to include and only have a 90 day guarantee, I’m basically out of luck on a correctly functioning TV.

Very disappointed. Went to my nearest store which is an hour and a half away and talked to an employee in the TV section. Asked him straight out what is the best 65” TV 1000 or under. He immediately walked me over to this one. I was very happy because this has the ROKU system which everyone in my family is used to. The only problem is that they had none in stock. The nearest one was about 2 hours away so off I went to purchase this and bring it home. Last one they had at that store. I was very happy to secure it and bring it home, only to find out that there was a huge crack in the corner of this TV. Now we package up and have to find another one God knows where. Very disappointed. Very frustrating.

The TCL 6 Series with MINI LEDs produces an rich picture with excellent contrast and colors. While it may not be able to compete with an OLED, bear in mind that no other currently available consumer tech can either. That said, for a LCD based display the contrast is quite good. The deep blacks make for very solid HDR since this tv gets much brighter than any OLED. Additionally, the ROKU OS is super easy to use and connects seamlessly to pretty much any mobile device. If you are into gaming, it is also an excellent choice. Again, OLED's tend to be better for gaming, but burn in remains an issue. With this TCL, no one will have to worry about that. The lack of HDMI 2.1 might turn some people off but I highly doubt many games will be running at 4k 120 FPS. All in all, tremendous value for an excellent TV. My only complaint is that the sound (though adequate) could be better. When using a soundbar, there tends to be a delay, so that too. PROS: Image Quality Roku OS Low Input Lag Video games look good even in game mode 65 Inch quality behemoth for under a grand CONS: Sound Quality is just ok Connecting soundbar via HDMI is laggy. Viewing angles are limited (comes w the territory being LCD based)
