    Amazing TV

This is an excellent TV with all the modern features you would want. The only cons I would like to point out is that this 120HZ TV will not do 4K at 120Hz. Most on the market today wouldn't either - but if your looking to upgrade a TV to 120Hz for gamming - this TV will preform amazingly at 60Hz but never at 120Hz. Also - from time to time, the screen gets jittery. To fix this, I simply restart the TV. In the few months I had this TV, I had to restart it several times to alleviate this annoyance. That all said. I still give this TV 5 stars because it deserves it. Streaming 4K content in Dolby Vision via Roku via HBO max is amazing. The gaming experience I get with this TV is amazing, And the ease of use and setup could not of been easier. The TV and the apps seem to update themselves. I would recommend this TV to anyone. And have.

This tv is amazing for the price! Playing games is a gem too! I own a series x and this tv supports 120hrz at 1440p resolution and 60hrz at 4k! Picture is great across all types of shows and games, it also gets plenty bright! In love with this tv for the price!

The TCL 65R635 is hands down the best tv for the money. No other tv has HDR, Roku and Dolby vision for nowhere near the price. Just look at ratings.com and cnet if your thinking of your next big tv purchase. This tv outperformed many others that cost much more! You will be 100% satisfied.

A very bright spot for TCL QLED

So much technology packed in at a much less cost then the big boys. I researched so many TV's to see which was the best bang for your buck. The things I was looking for was consistency in black levels, compatibility with my streaming services and brightness for a bright room. QLED mini LED is perfect for Dolby Vision because of the brightness of this TV. I have a TCL 5 series 2018 and the brightness and black levels weren't terrible but they could have been better. I was hesitant to get another TCL but after seeing the difference between this TV and say the Samsung Q60 or Q70. This TV blew them away for the price. You have to up to the Q80 to get the same performance and that would almost be double the price. This TV checked all the boxes for me.

Good TV, but Roku remote is trash

The TV and picture quality are great. This was my first Roku and it’s ok. The remote that comes with the TV is garbage. I just barely got the TV set up and the remote stopped working. I use the remote on my phone app. Again, it’s ok, but takes forever to pair with the device when you first turn it on and it’s so much easier to manually turn the TV from the button on the back, than to get the remote to do it. I probably wouldn’t buy this again because of the hassles with Roku, but no complaints with the TV and pic quality.

What a beautiful television. The color abs contrasts with this tv are phenomenal. This plays blacks pretty well and video games are amazing. I want the same tv but larger. Purchased the 65” television and love love love it.

Better than I expected. Great picture and wonderfully easy to use. Roku is great. The television produces a clear, picture, with deep dark colors and realistic skin tones. The 4k HDR is as good as I have seen. Great tv for the money.

For the price, I don't think you can buy a better TV - incredible picture, lots of possible adjustments, loaded with apps and channels, super easy to use. Others have said speakers are weak and I can't comment as I have a 5.1 Denon/PSB system for the sound. We have a very bright viewing room and I was looking at OLED but some reviews said it needs a dark room. I have the brightness on the lowest setting and that has plenty of picture and contrast to work even in bright daylight (west facing glass). The phone app is great to - I can listen to the TV thru bluetooth on my hearing aids while walking away. Very happy with the purchase.

    Beautiful TV - Terrible remote

In short, this tv is nothing short of amazing. Vibrant colors, inky blacks, and the local dimming really makes things pop off. Turning the tv on for the first time was NOT so great LOL. I resumed the movie we were watching prior to purchasing the TV. We were watching Hunger Games (not my choice) and it looked absolutely terrible. I immediately considered returning the TV. I switched between some shows on Netflix, YouTube, prime, and other services to see how things faired. 4K UHD and HDR content looked good but not great while SDR content looked downright terrible. I scratched my head, perhaps the TV has a “break-in” period? It most certainly does. I let the TV play more content for several hours and at some point the tv went from just ok to strait up beast mode. Content I had seen before was flooring me with detail and color, motion became smooth and I was beyond impressed. I would give this TV 5 stars any day BUT the remote that came with the TV DOES NOT WORK. Absolute buzz kill on a new tv. I have two other Roku TVs and both the remotes work great with the new TV but the remote that came with the TV is a sub quality piece of junk all the way around.

    Outstanding TV For the Price

This TCL 65" is a great TV for the price. The picture quality and brightness it outstanding for its price range. If you are a fan of the Roku interface then, even better. The build quality is very good and the appearance is very sleek. It is a little thicker than other high-end TVs slightly above this price range, but it is still a nice size. The feet are adjustable if you are using a console/table. the feet also have a nice cable management feature. A nice little detail missing from other models. The color and blacks/contrast are very good. If you take the time to use the available IPQ calibration app (compatible with limited smart phones/tablets) you can achiever a very nice/accurate white balance as well. My only issue is when using eARC back to a receiver and playing content from a Roku App there is a 1-2 second delay when the audio starts. There aren't any issues with lip syncing & audio (at least in the apps I use), but this makes trying to queue up music in an app a really bad experience. There is a delay between every track before you hear the audio so you miss the intro/first second of a song.

Truly impressed with this TV! The sound quality is amazing - I was worried about it because of reviews stating the sound quality is not that great but we don't even need a sound bar. The picture quality is also great - very clear and bright (even on sunny days). For the price, it's a really, really good deal. We did run into an issue with the remote lagging when we first bought it. However that was quickly resolved by the TCL customer service rep, who was super helpful and friendly.

Had to wait awhile to get one but so far it's been worth the wait. Dynamic all around picture, easy to setup, love the Roku interface. My only issue so far has been with the remote reliably controlling the volume on my Onkyo receiver after power-up. TCL tech support has been great helping to resolve this issue. I really like the way the tv automatically detects and switches to the appropriate picture mode based on the incoming signal.

I bought this TV to replace a 5 year old Vizio whose screen stopped working. The pros for this TV are it's amazing picture quality when watching high quality content (1080P and 4K). The brightness along with it's Dolby Vision and HDR10 implementation work very well. If you watch content below 1080P this TV just does an OK job. The upscaling of anything below 1080P is not great and you'll see lots of artifacts in the picture. This is my first TCL TV so I'm a little worried about quality and longevity of the TV. After about 8 months one of the HDMI ports has stopped working. You do get 4 total, so this hasn't really affected how I use the TV, but does make me worry a little bit about other things going bad over time. Overall though, this is a great TV for the price and 4K streaming in HDR looks fantastic!!!

It’s a very nice tv with great performance and features. On the 65 inch model the blacks are almost oled like they are so inky and colors are very vibrant. It’s a very good tv for movies and gaming alike . With a few adjustments the picture quality is stellar and you would swear you were looking at a tv that cost much more. Very impressed with how the mini led enhances the experience. Highlights are bright colorful and impactful while blacks are really deep. Tcl just keeps getting better

The first time this TV was hooked up and installed, it had a strange pixilated flash of pink that would run across the whole bottom screen. It would be even more prevalent whilst gaming. So I had to exchange it for a new one. This new one however, is near perfect. Crystal clear picture, fluid motion, excellent display. There are some problems with sound where it’s hard to get consistent sound when switching through apps but I don’t have this problem when I switch it to my PlayStation or my girlfriend’s switch so I think that’s probably a software issue, and even then I’m pretty sure a decent sound bar eliminates the problem. The Roku remote is atrocious as per usual for Roku, but the app works just fine so you really only need the remote to turn it on if you don’t plan on having it run in the background. This is the nicest TV I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning, would highly recommend.

Really good picture, but the Roku UI leaves a little to be desired for picture adjustment. Gets a little choppy at times with a lot of fast motion on screen, but it doesn't bother me too much. Prices are insane, but that's every TV on the market.

Great picture, good colors and brightness. Enjoy extra features to select font size of closed-captioning. So easy to use this Roku TV. Perfect size for our great room and appreciate the adjustable feet so we could use our existing TV stand. We have another of this model but smaller size in a vacation home. Good price and good value. I would definitely buy them again.
