Extremely bright, and when you get it calibrated and dialed in is even better. Most bang for the buck in TVs today.

This TV is awesome! The picture is amazing! I had a Samsumg 8000 series and the picture quality on the TCL far exceeds the the Samsung. Don't listen to the old negative reviews. The updates have taken care of those complaints. Sound quality is very good on its own. I have it connected to my stereo and rarely use it. Recommend to buy this TV. Price is great for mini- lights / QLED! Photo doesn't do it justice.

I had my misgivings about this unit's previous issues with the Google TV interface but the latest firmware seems to have solved all of these. Just love the picture quality! Looks great mounted on the wall; should have gone with the 75 inch but didn't want to change the mount. Maybe next year.

I love this TV. For the price I got it for, it is absolutely amazing. I like the Google TV a lot more than Roku, and I'm happy I was able to get that model. 4K movies look great, PS5 games look great. I use external speakers, but the internal speakers aren't bad. They're just really small.

Needed something that would support next generation gaming but wouldn’t break the bank and after a little research i felt confident with my choice. I was in the market for an OLED but getting this mini LED was a solid choice and to be honest i haven’t been disappointed yet. Handles 120hz on my ps5 superbly. Highly recommend this tv for its brightness. The sound was good but i have a nice jbl soundbar that i use for my room so i l wasn’t to test the sound as much as if like for a review but what i heard to start was passable for intimate viewing. If you see it on sale make sure you grab it and don’t even think about it. American made goods

I've always purchased TVs from established manufacturers. This time around, however, I decided to purchase a TCL based on the reviews from experts lauding this set's picture quality and overall performance. Received my set, and upon install, I noticed that the rectangular box (receiver unit I believe) below the screen was not installed properly at the factory, and was exposing a 1/8" gap on its right side, allowing light from the power LED to escape. Very annoying. After contacting BestBuy, they picked up the set a few days later and delivered a new replacement (same TCL TV model). That set exhibited another issue, however: upon turning on the TV after a long cooldown period, the HDMI signal from the Cable TV setbox would take several minutes to properly sync up and interoperate with the TV set. During this time, the TV set would turn black for a a second or two, it then displayed "Loss of Signal" only to regain sync to the HDMI signal and start that sequence again. After unsuccessfully replacing HDMI cable, switching it to another HDMI input on the TV, and trying different HDMI input settings on the TV, I gave up. Called BestBuy again (great at accepting/processing returns/replacements), This time, I paid the extra money and purchased a set from a well-established TV manufacturer. Needless to say, after installing that TV, it worked flawlessly. Disappointing, as the TCL does in fact have fantastic picture quality, and good audio as well, noticeably better than the TV I ended up purchasing for an additional $200.

TCL 6 Series Google TV...Excellent Upgrade!

This is the third TCL 6 Series TV that I have purchased. I read the reviews and reports about the Google TV software being slow and buggy. The good news is that TCL released an update around Christmas. I purchased this 65" set as an upgrade for my parents over the 50" Insignia Fire TV thaylt I bought for them back in 2018. My father wanted to be able to control everything with one remote so I purchased a TCL Alto 9+ soundbar and Fire Stick 4K Max to go with it. We set everything up and it did take a while to go through the updates. Once that was complete we tested everything out from various streaming sources, Blu-Rays, and older DVDs. The picture is excellent and has some great depth. A noticeable improvement from my own 6 series purchased in 2018. So far there have been no glitches but I purchased a 4 year protection plan from TCL to be safe.

This is an amazing television. The clarity and speed is something you just have to experience. I replaced a different budget brand's 65" set and didn't expect much. I was pleasantly surprised. My only gripe is the size of the remote. If they kept the same layout but made it larger, this would be the perfect budget tv

Great tv for the price, gaming and movies are amazing very happy with purchase! I paired an Apple TV 4K and looks amazing. Google interface is better since updated but I prefer the Apple TV box it’s really a game changer hard to go back to anything else even Roku!

As a lot of people did, I purchased this set since it was mini-LED for $599 (as an upgrade to my trusty Samsung KS8000) and I am head over heels for it. The build quality of the tv itself is MUCH better than I expected and the picture quality (particularly black level) truly rivals OLEDs that cost at minimum twice as much. It may have been buggy when it came out, but those issues aren’t present anymore (for me at least). If you’re even remotely on the fence… just buy it.

Extremely happy with this purchase from ease of ordering in BestBuy app to delivery tracking and delivery (done by third party in big box 18 wheeler moving truck).
I was considering three 65” options: Samsung QN90A, LG C1 & TCL R646 and I am more than pleased to save the extra grand on more by getting this TCL. Coming from my 65” Samsung KS8000 from 2015, this TV excels in clarity, brightness and unformity.
Google TV rounds out the positive experience by giving this TCL TV many great settings and options to perfect your user experience. I really set this TV as a “Dumb TV” by turning off most of its “smart” or “AI” functions and use an AppleTV / Xbox Series S and Panasonic DP420.
Couldn’t be more happy maybe other than having the money to spend on a 75” LG C1 OLED.
