Great TV! Crystal Clear Picture!

I purchased this without viewing it in person at a store, and only after reading many reviews/video revews online.
Very pleased with the picture quality! It comes with an 8K screensaver, and that was one of the first things I put on. Blown away by the clarity!
Viewed some Amazon Prime videos and came through clear. Expectations were surpassed.
The actual TV speakers put out good sound, but I use an A/V reciever via Toslink Optical Cable.
The stand that it comes with does its job well, and it isn't going anywhere unless forced to do so. One pic of the stand from the rear.
Remote control is durable and much better quality than any old regular one. Metal and rubber construction.
4'th TCL we own and haven't had problems with any yet. Friend has one as well. Good, reliable TV's.
The best part is that it has ROKU too. One less device, power cord, video cord, and remote to deal with.
Was really debating on whether to pull the plug and get 8K, but I'm glad I did. I would reccommend this TV.

I was skeptical on jumping in the 8K train. But OMG! I am a believer! Big bright colorful picture! Excellent black levels, great sound quality with a built In subwoofer, great Roku Interface, nice premium remote! Watching 8K videos on the YouTube app Is mesmerizing! Local antenna TV looks great! And playing God of War Ragnarok with my PS5, ALLM & VRR, absolutely Incredible upscaling to 8K! I'm so happy to have this 8K TCL!

So to be fair, I've only had this tv for about 5 days, but so far so good. I had a samsung 55in 4k 3D tv that I bought 7-8 yrs ago and wanted something bigger and with newer technology. This tv is pretty good and impressive. After messing with picture settings for a few days, I finally find something that works well in my living room and to my liking (out of the box it looks good too fyi). Blu-ray movies look great on this tv! Regular cable looks good too, but nothing like a Blu-ray. My wife even noticed the great overall picture quality of this tv (and if the wife notices, you know its good). The sound is better than most, but i use a soundbar so i can't really go into too much detail on that matter. Was it pricey, ya I would say so. Should I have waited until black friday, maybe. But for 2200$ 65in 8k tv (ya i know theres no 8k content besides YouTube stuff, which btw looks freaking amazing!), tell me where you're going to find a better tv for the price!

I had thia TV for more than two weeks now and the picture Quality is great. The afree Roku channel and live tv is also great. The only issue I noticed is the on and off flickering. I am trying to find out the cause like checking hdmi cables and other connections but It still comes and goes. So, I’m monitoring this tv for a few more weeks.

I paid $2,759.94 for this piece of junk. This TV goes out every other day. I get a white lined screen. I have to unplug it. Unlug all hdmi cables, hold down the power button while its off, and do this over and over again until it comes back on correctly. These are TCL’s directions. I had to call them. The TV only has a 1 year warranty. The piece of junk now sells for $495.99!!!!! Ive only had it for less than TWO YEARS. I got ripped off big time. So angry about this.

Just received this TV a few days ago and have been running it through it's paces. So far.. the picture quality is outstanding. Don't let the 160 dimming zones fool you.. this tv local dims better then the Samsung Q9FN from 2018.. and based on reviews I would imagine even better then the QN90A from this year. Peak brightness as rated by digital trends is 1400~ nits. Sound isn't great but that doesn't figure into my rating because what flat screen actually has great sound?
I'll update my review if anything changes.

This was the second least expensive 8KTV and a brand the internet ranked as one of the best that I could physically pick up instore. Bigger than I expected but not as heavy as the Samsung I returned. It works, because if the size at times I feel immersed in videogames and even though things look beautiful , I don't know that it is amazing or not. I don't have any 8K content but running games at the max fps. So, I guess I am just happy with it.

Why did I wait so long to upgrade my smart TV is a question I've been asking myself as this one has everything. It even has made watching the NFL on Amazon Prime easier. One click of the app and I can watch Thursday night football, Netflix, Disney +, Paramount, and a few others. Add the GREAT deal I received and I'm super happy with the purchase.

When you have a black background and you move your mouse cursor on the screen, you will see a huge block of blooming and this is due to the TV having only 160 dimming zone vs the competitors with over 1000 dimming zone. The guy with few hundred K views on youtube said this TV is very good but he lied

Best (Budget) 8K TV

I was between this TV and the 65inch LG 8K. The LG has 4 2.1 HDMI ports but no VRR. This TV only has 2 2.1 HDMI ports but it does have VRR. I figured not a big deal because I could just get an 8K 2.1 HDMI switch when the time comes.
Having this TV is like rediscovering TV for the first time. Cable TV, streaming, UHD disk, PS5; everything looks amazing on this TV. Sure there's no real 8K content yet except on YouTube but still, the way it makes everything else look doesn't matter. Paired with my LG atmos sound system I now have a complete home theater.
Few things thing I will say is that any content under 480p that isn't upscaled thru a UHD player isn't going to look that much better. The TV seems to have an issue with my Knivio HDMI switch where it wont recognize it unless I unplugg & plug the HDMI cord. Lastly, I tested the actual TV speakers and lets just say if I didn't already have a sound system I would at the very least buy a good soundbar to go with this TV.
