I have been a Samsung fan for many years but TCL might have gotten my business for the time being. I picked this item up on a great sale and I have no regrets. The performance of this tv compared to the price point is outstanding. Rich colors, plenty of I/O, and a great remote. The only thing that was less than great were the speakers on the TV. We found them to be quite weak and had poor depth of field as it comes to sound balance. I would highly recommend overall, especially with use of soundbar.

Picture is great--very sharp and very smooth. The colors look beautiful too and the TV holds hard contrast really well, a big upgrade from my last TV. Sound is subpar, but I have a soundbar so that doesn't really matter to me. The setup process could be a little easier though, but Google never makes things easy.

I was replacing a LG that was only 3 years old. It had problems with the LED’s. I looked at various tv’s that are available and read many different reviews. TCL wasn’t a brand I was familiar with, but they had good comments. Decided to go with TCL after seeing it and talking to Best Buy. Couldn’t be happier with the choice. Color, picture quality, brightness are better than anything I’ve owned prior.

I've always had good experiences with TCL products. I also have this exact same model in 55" format. For the price, the Q7's are 2nd to none. There is NOTHING in this price range that has a comparable picture quality. I honestly don't know much about the sound, because I immediately connected my soundbar, but I'm guessing it's about like any other TV sound, good enough to get by, but not going to wow. Even with that being said, I can't recommend this TV enough.

Very happy with this tv! Major step up from my 2014 tv! Image is super crisp and the 144hz refresh rate makes gaming buttery smooth. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good budget gaming tv!

This TV has everything I was looking for! 120 Hz, Dolby everything and Dts stuffs! Picture is top notch. Only complaint I would have to the eARC hdmi, it can take a few moments to sync. I would says its because its an old soundbar but its the Vizio 5.1 Dts virtual x with rear speaks and purchased the same day. But once working they both are awesome!

Bought this after much consideration to replace a 4K HiSense 65" that started losing it's backlighting after 3 years of solid use. Did a lot of research online and reading reviews here and narrowed it down between this and another HiSense. Went into my favorite BB to see them cause you can only look at specs so much and pricing was almost identical. After seeing the TCL I didn't even look at anything else; the picture was that impressive. And it looks even better in my home. I haven't adjusted ANY of the display settings and it just looks awesome out of the box. It's crisp, with rich colors and inky black where it should be. The shadow details I've been noticing on replaying my 4k content is incredible to me. I legit spent the first week doing nothing but re-watching all my favorite 4k movies and the difference between the TCL and my older HiSense was staggering. Of course, picture quality is subjective as everyone has differences in their vision, so I'd encourage you to go to your local BB and see for yourself what suits you best. I am extremely happy with my purchase and it came with the confidence that if I wasn't happy, BB would find a way to make it right.

No issues. Picture looks great. Love the 120Hz refresh rate for gaming. Can't find a better tv at this price point with that refresh rate!

Great tv with beautiful Led coloring with great back light and dark blacks. Hdr 10+ with log gamma at 12hz great for gaming. Its great tv and a steal at that price.

My first impressions were great. I am talking about the picture because to me that is what really matters. I was sitting pretty close and I was definitely getting a 3D effect. It looked like people walking towards the camera on my show had a depth and sense of space to them. Really cool. The colors and brightness were very good. I was impressed. The next time I used it I did notice though that the blooming was bad. It says on the product description it has a feature that eliminates blooming. It should say minimalizes it or something like that. What I was seeing was there... I even watched the same scenes on a 42" TCL TV I have that is about three years old and didn't cost much. The effect was worse on the new 65". I don't know maybe it needs an update or I lost in the so-called panel lottery. If I would have connected to the wi-fi maybe it would have helped via update but I really doubt it. I will be returning it today. Will I try to replace it with the same model? Not for sure yet. I don't want to get another that does the same thing. I am starting to wonder why the TV makers don't just check how they perform in these areas before boxing them up. I guess they would have to do too much to correct it. I've read it over and over in reviews... I really wanted to like this TV, but... In my case, well, ditto. I am basically 99% sure I just got a bad panel.

One of the best pictures in a lit room t that I’ve had on any TV in that location. The dark and the blacks are black even with the sunlight shining on the TV. The picture quality is fabulous.

This is my first OLED and I've been blown away with how much more vibrant the colors are, how much darker the blacks are, and overall how much better the picture quality is over my existing UHD 4K TV's. Gaming is great, but I do have a small issue with HDR flickering on and off at times during play. The TV is also very reflective as it doesn't have an anti-reflective coating on it - but for my rooms setting this isn't much of an issue since it's a darker room with no lights or windows that get directly reflected on the TV. Overall a great purchase!

I believe this is the best bang for your buck. This replaced an old 50" LG that we had. The picture is nice and bright. No wash out and it has a good pic from anywhere in our family room. I've always been an LG guy until I saw this at BB. TCL, you've won me over.

This is a great tv. We actually went in to get an LG and liked the picture quality on this one better. The price was even better for us. East to set up and easy to access all of our streaming services. Thank you to the young man who recommended this to us and im so glad it was up in display so we can see the picture quality as well.

We needed a new tv. I didn’t want to just buy the cheapest one this time, but I didn’t want to spend crazy amounts of money to replace our tv. This hit so many sweet spots for the price. I was very pleasantly surprised with the picture quality, options, and size at this price. Worth it.
