    Incredible TV for the price. i have no complaints after one month of use. Great quality, sound is fine for what I need, but my living room is fairly small.

    love this tv been looking at it for 1.5 years I finally got the deal I wanted and it was worth the wait excellent for watching and even better for gaming don't pass on this tv

    Great picture, awesome sound. Not the biggest fan of having to sign into Google but the live tv through TCL is great!

    Overall good picture, but did require some manual adjustment. Also doesn't automatically turn on the soundbar like past tv's (possible user error).

  • Just don't watch movies on this TV

    First the good. The picture for gaming is fantastic - but I can't be 100% sure that this is all on the TV since I upgraded the Xbox at the same time. The sound is actually not too shabby for TV speakers, but I would definitely buy a sound bar. Next, the mediocre. The interface is...okay. I liked my six year old (60 Hz) old TCL better, this Google setup seems clunky. Maybe I just need to get used to it, but having to use my gmail account to set the TV up seemed like an unnecessary step. And now I have to set up gmail accounts for my kids so they can focus on their shows. Last, the bad. And the bad for me, is what gives this TV a 2-star rating at best. I can look past the "soap opera effect", although it is a little distracting at times. What is more distracting is the ghosting/blurring during fast-paced action scenes. It makes movies unwatchable. I had to watch the second half of Aquaman through the Xbox because it defaulted to 50Hz. This canceled out pretty much all of the soap opera effect and the ghosting/blurring. Otherwise every chase scene, or explosion was like watching it happen in Minecraft. It was blocky/glitchy and made the movie unwatchable. Yes, I played with every setting I could think of, turning them on, then off, then using the sliding scales on others. The Motion Blur setting seemed to do nothing. Turning on the higher refresh rate made no difference. Judder settings? Not enough improvement to make me change my mind. Overall there were some very slight changes to the picture that made the movie okay to watch, but I still noticed the issues more than I noticed the movie. And I didn't spend all that money on a new TV to watch the movies through Xbox. Thus far, the TCL tech team has been responding (slowly), and the offered solutions were to play with the settings or reset the TV. The TV has been plugged in for three days now, so I doubt resetting it will accomplish anything. If the ghosting/blurring/motion issues could get resolved on movies, this TV is probably at least a 4-star TV. As it stands currently, it's at best a 2-star and that's only because gaming looks great (at 120 Hz) whereas movies (at 120 Hz) do not. And if I cannot fix these issues, this TV is likely going back to the store.

    Awesome for 4k gaming!!! I have played rank warzone, apex legends and have enjoyed it. It pairs nicely with my gaming pc. Input lag is nonexistent. All around good tv.
