This TV is amazing! The picture quality, contrast and brightness are overall impressive. HDR 10 content is amazing to watch and I have an Nvidia shield hooked up to it for upscaling so all other content looks amazing as well. The sound on this TV is not too shabby for a TV either. Amazing price to performance!

Great bright picture, easy to set up interface, awesome for gaming.

I would definitely recommend this TV. The picture is absolutely amazing. The mini LED really brings it to life. It's also probably the brightest TV I've ever seen in my life, but you can reduce that if you want. The colors the quality. Everything are amazing. Speakers also sound very good. Google TV operating system works really really well and is very fluid and fast. Has plenty of ports for my devices

So far so good? i've only had it a week but i can say gaming and true HDR content are both really, really good. Still learning the different modes and capabilities but one thing you can say is this TV is as bright as they say. It's getting rave reviews online for specs at this price point and so far it delivers.

Love the TCL QM8 65" great picture, colors & blacks

I was able to get this TV on sale a few weeks ago when it was $700 off and love it! The TV is incredibly bright, contrast is amazing, and colors really pop. As a gamer having the 120hz refresh rate and VRR is awesome for the PS5. Only downside was leaving the Roku platform my old TCL had for Google. While still good its not Roku.

Outstanding video quality of quality video, doesn't upscale well however. Audio quality is mediocre in my opinion not the exceptional audio that doesn't require a soundbar as early reviews were claiming. For the price it has been selling at I have no regrets after more than two months ownership. People keep asking "yeah but who is TCL, I always buy S__________ or S______. " Well realize when you do their enormous advertising budgets are padding the price of your televisions. TCL is a quality brand! The brightness is blinding on this television when maxed out. The contrast is incredible for a non-OLED TV and image quality is simply exceptional. Very nice remote that is comfortable and intuitive and in short time can be operated one handed without looking. The remote goes through batteries quickly due to it's backlighting but I can afford batteries.

Pros: Mini-LED and high number of dimming zones keep blooming under control, 144hz support, IMAX Enhanced (not a lot of content though), supports DTS pass through, price to performance ratio, eye searingly bright Cons: While my unit was good there are known quality control issues with TCL so you're playing the panel lottery

This is a very worthy effort from TCL. It has incredible blacks and great contrast. Screen is very bright. It is an impressive step forward from TV's of the past. It is not a high end Sony in terms of color processing but it can be incredibly close given the proper settings.

We have been playing with it for 6 days now. I will say that when we watch "Wednesday" on Netflix I have to adjust the settings slightly because the picture is so real I get a little vertigo. Much better than our 2020 Sony TV. Still learning what mode works best but quite happy for the price. It can be scary bright.

I like TCL televisions. The mini lights make for a great picture and this TV in particular gives off amazingly bright whites when watching HD movies. My Xbox X games shine. I am used to a Roku TV structure and this is Goggle TV. So I'm still learning that system.

TV looks great. Super bright in my living room which gets alot of natural light and it’s cuts through any potential glare. Colors are great, the tv is thin and light and the OS is fast and reliable. Picked it up after purchasing online was fast and easy. Best Buy reduced the price after I bought it and they refunded the difference.

Great TV. Bought it during the black Friday sale and it has been amazing. Offers great features for video games and has vrr. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to get a great tv with many features for a great price. Has deep blacks and bright colors almost like oled.

Great tv so far! I use ut for movies/shows and gaming and its so clean and colorful to look at! Colors are crisp and vibrant! Local dimming doesnt work in 120hz mode unfortunately but thats expected with any type of tv with backlighting. Other than that its amazing!

TCL's flagship QM8 Class TV delivers excellent picture quality and the Google TV platform along with plenty of other features that remains one of the most powerful and satisfying to use on the market. And it’s one of the brightest sets you can buy.

Excellent except for the viewing angles. I spent hours in store looking at this as I wanted to avoid spending more on an OLED. From previous experience I knew viewing angles is important to me, as my living space has wide seating. Unfortunately in store demos did not give a good example of real world use. After spending hours researching, buying and mounting, my wife walked in the room to check out the new TV, and first thing she said is 'How come everything looks pastel?'. It was because she was viewing off angle. Straight on, this TV is superb,bBrightness is best I have ever seen, no issues even near a window, but viewing angles were not great, off angle washes out, image, lifts blacks, shifts colors, and you lose detail. Returned for an OLED.

It gets very bright and the has very minimal blooming. I did have to raise the black level in Dolby Vision mode but other then that it has been great. I use an Apple TV 4K but the built in google tv is very snappy. Definately faster then the Chromecast with google TV

My goal was to upgrade my 50" to a 65" and I found the picture quality to be better than I was expected. Factoring, it's reasonable price and other features like the fast refresh rate. I'm very satisfied with my purchase thus far.

Great Picture and functionality and easy to set up. My only complaint is with the Google platform it does not have the spectrum app. And it cannot be added. Spectrum is my provider for cable and internet. Great sound.
