Having owned several TCL tvs over the years, I generally have only positive to say about them & recommended them frequently to others. This one, not so much. The picture is good. That's about it. It will randomly drop the image when watching something. Just straight black screen. Sound keeps playing. It won't respond to the remote & I have to pull the plug to reboot it. The overall lack of responsiveness from a $1500 piece of equipment isn't cool.

Stand is made mostly of plastic. For a 77 pound tv it should atleast be metal. The base is heavy metal though. Local dimming doesnt work on black bars. Well built an

Great TV. Top of the heap as far as ROKU TVs go. You want a ROKU that can tick all the boxes of your PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles, then this is it.

Very disappointed in the picture quality. So much of the fine tuning needs to be done on the Roku app that it becomes a hassle. Streaming content that it's not in 4K was mediocre at best. I found myself having to constantly switch picture modes in order to get what I considered acceptable video. The TV also turned the sound off then switched it back on again with subtitles. It was the strangest glitch. All in all I'd say this would be fine for a secondary room but don't pay attention to the hype.

We absolutely love this TV. We can pull up all of the apps that we had on our Roku and everything works wonderful. I would have given it a five but there is no way to browse the internet.

First, I want to say I bought the 75-inch TCL r635 just over 2 years ago. I loved the TV and have bought several TCL's in the past. After I had the TV for just over 2 years, I had something I never knew about that was an issue with these TV's. Black screen, I woke up one day and my TV would not turn on. After several times restarting and plugging and unplugging the TV I finally got it to come on, problem was when I turned it off it did it again and again. After going online and researching these TV's I saw many complaints about the same issue I had black screen. I contacted TCL and their customer support, and they went through a few things and told me since I did not have the extended warranty I was out of luck. Needless to say, I was not happy and then my 32-inch TCL did the exact same thing. There is a reason TCL only gives you a 1-year warranty while Hisense my next purchase gave me 2 years. I am not saying that issue might not be fixed with the R655 It may well be but I would implore any of you who get one of these TVs to get an extended warranty. Furthermore, I contacted Hisense and relayed my problem to them via email. They advised they would get back to me in a few days and a month later I have heard nothing back from them. Just wanted to let everyone know so they don't have to go what I just went through...good luck.

Beautiful picture and easy to use menu. You will not be disapointed when you are watching sports.
