Our new Roku tv is fantastic! It's like watching a show in a movie theatre. The salesman, however, was not very enthusiastic about our interest in the Roku line when we asked for it specifically. He kept trying to steer us to a Samsung or other line; one with the same price as the Roku and one at a much higher price. And he even confessed that picture quality of the Roku was better than the other two! Not sure why he did this? The Roku tv is one we highly recommend. And service, nonetheless, is fantastic, too, at Best Buy.

We purchased this TV after received 3 defective LG TVs in a row. So far we are very happy with it. I have to play with the settings a bit yet but the picture is fantastic and the native Roku is of course very user friendly and easy to set up. I would recommend this TV for someone who wants a step up from the basic 75" 4K.

I read the RTINGS reviews, CNET, Best Buy, Etc. etc. and thought it was all just hype. When I got home and powered this display on and played some true 4K HDR Dolby Vision content, my jaw hit the floor. I compared this to other Samsungs and Sony displays I was considering, and the difference in now way justified an additional $800-$1500. I have a PS4, XBOX One X, UHD player, Roku 4K stick, and an off air antenna, and they all look stunning!! Colors are true, contrast is excellent, blacks are near perfect, and motion is crystal clear. If you are looking for a 75" or even 65" dsiplay, you cant beat this at the moment.
I would also like to add, if you are looking at the 75R617, you can buy this one (75R615) and save $100. Only difference is the Roku remote. 615 has no voice button, but I had a voice remote already and paired it with this TV flawlessly.

There is no better bang-for-your-buck flat screen televisions in the market. Every professional review site out there agrees (cNet, Tom's etc).
I bought my first TCL Roku (31") way back when as a second computer monitor but I immediately recognized its value as a streaming media platform.
When the 5 & 6 series came out I decided it was time to cut-the-cable and purchased a 55" & 65" for our house. When the 75" came out we gave the 65" to my mother-in-law and got the big boy.
While the picture may not be exactly as good as the high end equivalents from Sony, LG or Samsung etc. I only notice it occasionally when the scene contains a ton of black in the background. Considering the competition costs 2x, 3x as much the TCL Roku 6 series, it is the hands down winner.

TCL has the Big Three TV companies scratching their heads and biting their nails with this 6 Series 4K UHD TV.
LG, Samsung and Sony needs to be careful when the competition of this "entry level" company can produce a TV this good at a price that almost everyone can afford.
I just say...go buy it!

An excellent TV that produces a picture that much higher priced TVs cannot beat. The Roku interface is intuitive and easy to use with many streaming options built. Using the Android/IOS apps you have access to a full blown CMS if you're into calibrating you TV. I highly recommend this TV.

The 75" TCL is great. We were looking at a similar LG model, but the sales staff assured us that although LG is a bigger name brand, the TCL was a higher quality with a better price. Large, slim, sharp picture, high quality.

Great picture, especially the 4k up-scaling of non-4k input. Roku is quite user friendly and the simple remote is manageable by the non-techies in my family. Setup was much easier than previous TV's.

This is not an OLED TV so don't expect OLED quality. That said, it's a very nice TV when sitting straight on or just slightly to the side. It has a narrow viewing angle and colors wash out quickly when viewed off angle. Aside from that, I couldn't be more pleased considering the cost.
The only downside (and this did not color my review) was that my TV suffered some minor damage during set up. One of the Geek Squad members dropped his screwdriver while attaching the legs and scratched the screen. It left a small (half inch) white line. Best Buy offered to have the TV replaced, but the damage is at the bottom of the screen and it's a uniform panel so I decided just to keep it. Still, it was a bit disappointing to pay extra for "professional" installation, only to have one of them damage the TV and not admit to it, even though I watched it happen.

Nice resolution and size for the price. Sure, you could spend many hundreds more to upgrade to OLED but if you're not looking to break the bank and looking for an easy to use TV with great size and decent resolution, this TCL is the way to go.

This is my first new TV since 2009. I had a Samsung and did some research as I was very happy with that TV. Well I quickly decided that I was going to get a 75 inch TV that put it in perspective. I had a budget and the TLC 6 Series was the perfect fit. It took a little time to get it set the way I like but now its one heck of a TV.

I heard some horror stories about the panel lottery. And i'm not saying it hasn't happened for some, but all i know is my panel looks great. It's the 75 inch, so maybe that helps. Grey screen or whatever, i didn't see any banding. And people, when you're paying south of 1200 for 3k quality, you need to just be happy with the amazing picture quality. For smoothing, i suggest keeping led clarity and action clarity off, and putting action smoothing at low. Also, this tv absolutely rocks at night. the picture quality is ridiculous. The upscaling on standard blu-ray discs is very good. In fact, most 1080P content looks great.

This tv has an exceptional picture quality that rivals displays that cost twice as much! In addition, there is no better smart tv interface than Roku, and this tv seamlessly integrates it directly into the display. I went back and forth between this and the 65” Vizio P-Quantum, and I’m so happy I chose this! Great picture quality, great interface, and you absolutely cannot beat the quality:cost ratio!!

We purchased a smaller tv like this to make sure we liked it and the picture before we purchased a bigger one. My husband is picky about the screen and the picture quality and likes this one. Built in Roku, Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu.

Granted I'm replacing a 13 year old TV but even accounting for that time leap, this TV is amazing. The picture is great; even in a room with a lot of natural light. Everything is so easy to use and incredibly intuative.

This tv is silly....silly good that is. It CAN NOT be beat for the price. It compares to other sets that cost twice as much. I've had SONY XBR's, SAMSUNGS, all that cost more than double. I decided to give this tv a shot based on reviews and the picture quality is beyond impressive. It could cost 2k and would still be a great buy. I 100% do not regret my decision and will never again waste money on a "name brand" television simply to say I have a SONY or Samsung, it simply wouldn't make any sense to do so after I've spent some time with this tv. Highly recommended. Thanks TCL.
