One quibble, I wish the screen had non reflective glass. I really like the Roku tv. My first experience with it. Setup was easy but you do need some muscle in lifting the screen onto a stand or wall. Mine is on a stand. Great deal from Best Buy and quick delivery.

TCL was the worst purchase, I’ve ever made

First time in the second month of owning this tv, multiple dead pixels. I can understand, if the tv was defective. 6 months later, the second time the tv wouldn’t turn on. Due to covid, Geeksquad is very limited with scheduling hours. Luckily, we had the tv for less than a year and purchase the tv warranty for 5 years... Tv wasn’t repairable and we got our new tv, LG OLED. Recommendation, do not get this tv or Trust TCL. Get an OLED

TCL not ready for primetime yet

I was on the pre-order from the minute it was announced and waited 6 weeks for it. Unfortunately, even though TCL wants this to be a high end TV, it is not. The image seems to live up to the hype: the colors are rich, the blacks are very dark, and the processing is good. Unfortunately, the smart TV platform is a disaster. Roku TV has had a long standing issue with audio coming out of the optical and and HDMI arc ports being late when you are watching programming from the smart TV apps. This results in poor audio sync. I spent a lot of time dealing with support staff and online at the Roku forums. This is a bug, and it has existed for a while. It makes viewing movies or TV programming on Netflix (2-4 frames late) or Amazon Prime Video (3 frames late) unwatchable. Since anyone who pays $3K for a 75" TV is sure to hook it up to a sound system, this makes the TV unusable. The TV also had issues with having to reboot itself randomly. This would result in having to wait for the TV to restart several times a week. Each time it would restart, it would take 2-3 minutes of having to sit and wait. Also unacceptable for a high end TV. If you are going to spend a lot of money on a TV for a home theater, sadly you will need to look for a name brand like Sony (what ended up returning it for), Samsung, or LG.

Excellent TV, but look up settings

It has to be done for each input, and the TV looks a lot more appealing once a lot of the interpolation is turned off. Rtings has good coverage of how to edit this.
