Incredible picture quality
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this TV for over 2 years now. The picture quality is still phenomenal and has had no issues. I gave it 4 stars because it has had occasional software issues where the tv freezes on a menu screen, but this is on rare occasion and it's never required anything other than unplugging and plugging it back in to resolve.

Very happy with the purchase price and the excellent clean installation from Samer and assistant.Tv started without any issues. Picture was perfectly clear without any adjustments.Colors were brilliant also with no adjustments.Sound is very powerfully clear with the built in speakers.Didn't need to buy additional speakers. So far I am very happy with the whole experience in purchasing this TCL Roku tv

A fantastic television and a great value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My 75" TCL Series 8 television is the center piece of my home theater. The micro LCD's give it the ability to control screen lighting exceptionally well. The display panel can show the deepest darks and brightest colors in the same scene. It has all of the advantages of an OLED television at a lower cost with the advantages of being brighter without worrying about screen burn in. The ROKU interface is also very intuitive. All screen adjustments and inputs are easily controlled within the application.

TCL hits it out of the park on this one!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for image quality that rivals that of OLED at a fraction of the cost look no further. Beautiful deep blacks an amazing contrast and incredible color depth and accuracy. It does take a bit of teaming and calibrating to get it all working just right. That aside we have had this set for a month now and Dolby Vision content looks absolutely delicious as it should. Amazing purchase!

Great image, easy setup for 2 people (its heavy)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nicely designed unpacking - it was easy and intuitive, but beware -that box is HUGE especially after you open it up. The image is fantastic right out of the box but a bit of simple tweaking made it even crisper - so good that you will be sad that most of the transmission isn't in 4k. One small note - This 75" replaced my 65" Visio. Due to the micro size frame on the TCL it turns out to only be about 4 inches wider than the Visio so basically fits in the same space. At first the TCL remote seems to simplistic but I find the remote, menus an on board Roku quite adequate and easy to navigate. After a month I find this to be a great TV - of course much more time is needed to truly see how its quality stands up. I'll try to remember to check back in in about a year, but for now, it seems to be fantastic.

Believe the reviews. It’s that good.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bright screen, deep black, accurate color. Best picture short of an OLED. ROKU is easy to use. Sound is actually acceptable.

Beast of a TV
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this up for $1,800 during a one-day sale at BB. That's a whole lot of TV for something that's in the same league as Samsung's top end and includes some key items missing from the Samsung lineup - Dolby Vision, mini-led and built-in Roku. Contrast, colors, screen uniformity, brightness, motion, 4K upscaling and operating system speed are all excellent. As other reviewers have noted, my only issue with this TV is that it can crush shadows in HDR content.

Amazing set especially at this price point
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased the 75" series 8 when the price dropped to $1799. We really wanted to purchase the 77" LG C9 but were hesitant given it's price point. The series 8 seemed to be the best option with a ton of bang for your buck. We were right! After some minor fiddling around with settings, we are thrilled with this purchase and looking forward to many years of using this fantastic set!

Put your old OLED on the back porch like me!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is easily the best looking television I have ever owned. I replaced a 65" LG OLED that had a great picture but was starting to suffer from burn in after about 3 years and this 75" is so much brighter- and so much larger- that I do not miss the OLED at all! I payed a lot more then it is on sale for now and it was bsolutely worth it. Buy one!

Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve only used the TV a few times so far, but I really like the picture. If you plan to mount it, be prepared it is pretty hefty. This TV is by far heavier than my 65” Samsung that I bought 7 years ago! The built in Roku TV is very nice. We simply connect to our WiFi and stream several channels without any hassle at all, and no cable or ethernet wires needed.

Nearly Perfect
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a plasma TV circa 2007, the display on this beast is pretty nice. Blacks seem true, no light bleed, crisp text. The only reason I bumped a star was due to my original unit experiencing odd flickering and backlighting behavior. Some screens would flicker as if looking at a faulty fluorescent light, other times you could visibly see one half of the TV "waking up" between scenes while the other half struggled to catch up. It was almost as if two displays were merged in to one. I'm hopeful this unit doesn't display any of the same behavior. Those issues occurred within a week of purchasing. For the price, it's a fantastic TV.

Big, beautiful,
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was amazed by how big it was to my old 60". Beautiful picture, color is sharp. It was easy to set up. But I do recommend having a second person to set up. I would highly recommend this TV. It will be super to watch football. Like going to a movie theater.

Great Plasma Replacement
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've loved my 50" Panasonic plasma tv (2009) but hankered for an OLED in recent years. This TV blows the doors off the plasma in terms of black levels, brightness, and definition. While an OLED would be better still, no way is it three times the cost better. A month in, I'm very happy with this purchase.

New TCL 75”
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the tv at the store and had it delivered. Everything went well. Make sure you get a heavy duty bracket for the wall if hanging it. The tv is heavy. Picture is good right out of the box. Did some minor tweaks but not done yet. Only had it set up for a couple weeks, hence the four stars.

Fantastic find
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Where to start? This is hands down one of the best electronics buys I have ever made. TCL has knocked it out of the ballpark with this TV. Outstanding picture, peak brightness, flawless back lighting. I have been searching for the right 75 inch to buy and I am so extremely happy with this purchase.

Great 75 inch TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely a great TV for the money. It handles everything thrown at it. The screen is bright and vibrant. Only the top OLED and QLED TV's are only slightly better. Overall, one of the best purchases I have every made. Was going to get the 75 inch Sony X950H for $2399, but the TCL was half off when I made the purchase and have saved over $800.

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding TV especially for the sale price I got it at $1799. Picture is sharp, the speakers are surprisingly really good. Nice and loud that you wouldn't really need to buy. Soundbar at all. Roku is so simple and easy to use you'll have no prob. If you can get this TV especially on sale you will definitely be Happy with your purchase.

GREAT TV AND VALUE
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd TCL TV. Have been extremely pleased with both. The 8 series is definitely a step up from the 6 series in terms of overall quality. Picture quality is awesome. The mini LEDs are a very close second to OLED at a much better price point. Professional reviews have criticized the black levels when using brighter settings and it’s performance for gaming. My opinion you won’t notice the black levels being an issue - the only time the tv will be asked to deal with scenes that have a lot of black are movies, so if you use a darker setting or movie mode it’s not an issue. In regards to gaming, ask any gamer and they will tell you that they prefer a much smaller screen, so no gamer is going to be buying the 8 series anyway. Another upgrade and plus - if you have a Dolby Atmos AV receiver, the eARC is a huge bonus. No more issues with streaming services like Netflix.
