It’s a mid-range TV set so I don’t expect miracles. What I do expect is that a brand new TV doesn’t have dead pixels. Who wants to return a 75” TV to a store after you’ve thrown out the box? And I’m sure they know that and that’s why mine has had three dead pixels since I put it up. I guess I should have checked before I hung it on the wall. That was a really ugly slap in the face and makes me never want to buy another one from this brand again. This is my sixth or seventh TV that I bought from this brand over the past decade (for kids rooms, etc), but the first mid-range set. All the rest were $500 or less and it was such a bummer to spend TWICE that amount on one that’s not reliable. TCL is great for budget sets, but I would never again recommend anything above their entry level line.

75” …Sony is my choice for quality tv but not always in my price range ..I have a few other brands around but Sony somehow stands out best overall picture..nice size for my bedroom …ez on the eyes …nice crisp colors …ez to install…this model very good for the price…so far so good…

Got this to finally upgrade to a 4k tv and it's being pretty amazing. The refresh rate and color are great for my games to the point I'm upset I didn't upgrade sooner.

got this tv as an open box deal, even if I had paid new full price I'd feel that the purchase was a good one. this tv hanging on my living room wall has made a great replacement for a 1080p projector + screen setup I was using in that room. I've had since day 1 a several-years-old lg 5.1.2 soundbar connected to the tv it works well with the tv I can't therefore accurately comment on how the sound quality of the tv alone is

Great value for the money! Great picture and viewing angles compared to my older plasma TV!

We are enjoying the new tv. Great color and very good sound. Lots of free live channels from Google. Easy app set up- Netflix.... overall very pleased with our purchase.

Great picture, fairly easy set up. I like that you can have multiple profiles. Though the suggestions for picking up where you left off I wish were specific to the profiles, they tend to not matter. I suggest turning off the button less voice feature as I would say every show or movie would get 1-2 pauses trying to hear what "we" asked Google. Still trying to figure some settings out, sometimes the brightness is too bright, but does appear to have some self-adapting features, but sometimes not 100% effective.

So far so good. The picture is great, however these is weird motion bubbling sometimes. It's hard to describe. Paid 800 for it and I can't tell the difference between this one and the Samsung with similar specs

A great TV with fantastic color and resolution. We took advantage of a great promotional price and also signed up with the Best Buy Total program. Couldn’t be happier.

A nice upgrade, picture is spectacular. We had to turn down the brightness a touch, it is sharp, great viewing.

Everyone on reddit says if you're looking for a budget TV, this is the one to get (even though it's an older model). I listened and am thoroughly impressed by the picture quality. Get a cheap soundbar tho bc the audio is lacking (as with most tvs these days tho)

I agree with all the positive things others have said. I do love the TV. However, there's been a few times where the screen started flickering like crazy. It happened when using HDR to watch a movie, and another time when I was streaming a TV show from the 90s (low-fi lol). Sometimes the flickering is only at the bottom of the screen - a green line will appear and disappear. But other times it was the entire screen. If I turn the tv off and on again and it starts working like normal. Not sure what the deal is. We use an ethernet cord, not wi-fi. TV has had HEAVY use during the month that we've had it, and this has only happened around 4 times.

We got a good deal over Thanksgiving and take advantage of this. The size is perfect for us, set up is pretty easy and the best part is the clear and amazing screen images that you get. You really get a good deal for watching a good game or movie. My only set back could be the sound, it could be better but nothing that an additional home theater cannot enhance. Overall pretty happy with the purchase!

No regrets buying this TV online. Full array dimming, with oled like screen brightness and darkness quality 75” TV for only 499$. I got it cheaper, pit was on mid year black Friday sale and I got it more cheaper coz I used some of my gift cards and bestbuy points. Got delivered on time too. If bought high end brand with this level of specs it would cost me another 2k to get it. Buy smart.

Had it for months now. The picture is great and it was simple to mount. Has all the connections and features needed to handle everything i need.

I love the clarity of the picture and it’s so clear . Has so many different apps on it and very easy to navigate from any of the apps . Prices was very reasonable for the 75 inch . My husband loves it

I purchased this tv to replace a tcl 65 series 6. The 65 had geak squad warranty. I will not buy that again but I’m not reviewing the extra warranty. This tv, first off has a great picture, great contrast, and great connections for your gear. The bad thing with this tv is the google tv OS. It is pretty much garbage. The interface is slow and not user friendly. The connections don’t automatically change when setup to do so. The volume display makes no sense and does not even show when using Apple TV. That said the tv is ok but, I don’t think the interface will get any better (probably worse). Enjoy

I had never heard of TCL before this purchase. We are very pleased with the picture quality and the price was unbeatable for this size TV with the same features. We're glad we took the sales associates recommendation!
