  • Don't Overlook the TCL!

    I shopped for almost three years for a new TV. Thankfully, with each passing year the price of the larger ones have dropped. I did my research and TCL came out on top as far as features and price go. The sales people seem to push Sony and LG perhaps due to salesperson spifs, but the TCL should not be ignored and can save you a considerable amount of money. I don't know about you, but I can spot minor differences when looking at models side by side, but get the TCL home and try and find something that would make the Sonly or LG better.

    Stunning as long as you stay within the Google Platform. Roku 4K stick, and Amazon Firestick added to the HDMI inputs do not yield the same quality of color palette as the primary Google source. I have installed as many apps as I can from my Roku platform, but know that I'm going to have a problem when I'm forced to switch back to the Spectrum app, as it only functions on Roku, and not Google yet.

    Purchased this TV on line thru Ft Myers store. Young man never asked if we wanted it mounted or not so I assumed it would be done upon arrival. NOPE had to make another appt to have it mounted and when the man came he said sorry he had no helper so my cousin had to help him !!! Not so mad about the help but was charged additional $250 to come back out and mount it. Due to a hurricane down there we never got to wqtch it yet.

    I’ve only had the tv for a couple of weeks. So far I am pleased with it. However, it seems to not be show deep colors and black as well as I thought it should. I’m still going thru the settings and making adjustments to make it more to my liking. I might give it a 5 after I have A couple of more weeks. Works well with a TCL Atmos 8211 Series soundbar especially using eARC.
