    Hands down best bang for your buck TV on the market! You'd pay almost double for the same picture quality from the big 3. My only wish is that out of the box adjustments could be a tad better, but with the myriad of controls, I was able to fine tune to my liking. Also, the build in Equalizer in the advanced audio controls let's me adjust the sound to the best in TV audio I've ever heard!

    I purchased this set based on all the technical reviews I could find. I have not been disappointed after three weeks ownership. Color is a wow. Still figuring out settings which is almost overpowering. I opted for a soundbar as the set speakers were just adequate. I originally purchased a 65" set. When it was delivered I immediate saw I should have ordered a 75" set. Best Buy Geek Squad did a no hassle swap out. I recommend that you purchase the largest set that will fit your space.

  • DONT buy this if Dolby Vision is important to you

    Everything is super dark in Dolby Vision with the QM8. A big reason is you can't adjust the brightness much because you only have 3 choices. (Dark, Bright, IQ. bright is still really dark) I was just comparing Avatar WotW in DV and HDR and DV looked so boring comparatively, just very washed out. According to the folks on AVS forums it's because the eotf isn't tracking correctly. Rtings has said TCL told them they're looking into it but I would not buy the TV until it's fixed. It's a bummer because otherwise this TV is fantastic.

    Great TV for those who want to get the most for their money but also value a quality picture. Yes there are better TV's (OLED) and their are cheaper TV's. This rides a good line in the middle. If you want a 75 inch TV. This is the one to get. Do not get the U8k 75 inch. It has a different panel then the 65" and 85" versions. The online reviews do not apply. I got the U8k originally and switched to the QM8 with Best buys return and replace policy

    This is an excellent TV for anyone. The quality is exceptional and with a few video tutorials, you can improve the picture quality by adjusting the settings manually. Even if you do not, the average person will be amazed with the picture quality out of the box. The standard TV audio is also surprisingly good, but I’d recommend at least an entry price point sound bar to improve your viewing experience. TCL is changing the game when it comes to picture quality and value for money compared to other big brands. Well done.

    Great image Quality with good local dimming to get near black levels. A good price for a 4k miniled TV that supports HDR10+ content as well as 120hz and VRR for gaming. Only reason it lost a star is because it does not support all these features on PC (it does with console however). It is locked at 4k 8bit 60hz on PC and only after using a third party app can I actually get some of these features back. But it still will not let me turn on HDR and VRR (managed to get 4k 10 bit 120 hz only)

    I love the quality of the picture. I love the sound that the TV speaker produces even though I have a sound bar. For the price it is a great TV. It does have some laggy moments on fast moving objects but nothing horrible that you can't get past. I did look at more expensive Televisions but couldn't justify $2,000 or more for less noticeable lagging.
