Blacklight bleeding/Dirty screen effect is there

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use it as a bedroom TV to watch movies in the dark and while I knew it wasn't going to be OLED quality I'm still a little disappointed in how splotchy the backlight bleeding is. I've bought low end TVs before and the backlight has at least been a consistent dark gray/almost black. I think this issue is also called dirty screen effect. Most people won't care for the price of about $500 and you probably will only notice it in really dark scenes.
