The tv is great 4 hdmi ports is a must these days. Google tv is proably the best streaming platform out there.

Great service and product would definitely buy again

Would not recommend. Bought the tv last November and about a week ago a single line showed up on the screen on the right side almost to the middle of the screen. Now a week later the screen is completely black and won't show a picture .

This was a brand new TV, but plastic cover to protect the screen had been peeled off halfway and it was apparent that other protective coverings had been removed and put back on. Not sure if this was a floor model that was sold as a new TV, but it definitely was not packages as TV's are when they are new. Doesn't seem to have any issues after being installed, but paid a lot of money for something we are unsure will last as a new TV. White side protection had black/dirty finger print markings on it and was not placed on the edge of the TV as it is supposed to be. Looks like it was reattached in the wrong place when TV was repackaged for sale as a new TV. The side protection is supposed to be installed on the edges of the TV, for protection and for handling the TV when mounting it.

Ive only had this 85 inch tv for 15 months and the picture is already gone out! Tv has been moumted since i purchaed and nothing is displaying. Geeksquad takes at least 2-3weeks to come out to the home for a repair.

It last me exactly a year. I don’t recommend buying this product. We used to love it but didn’t like the durability

Very nice TV especially for the sale price I paid. I do think has a better picture than our last TV. If I had to complain, it would be 2 things. It is a little slower to start and switch from one streaming service to another, but still not bad. Secondly I really liked the remote with pointer that our last LG tv had. It just made it easier and quicker to selected and sign into things. We do use a sound bar with sub because all these flat screens with rear speakers do a terrible job projecting sound.

This TV has it all! Plenty of ports for every device you want to connect, an adjustable stand, high refresh rate + game mode, and so much more. I was worried the speakers wouldn’t be worth it, because it’s a pretty thin TV, but there’s a whole subwoofer/speaker setup on the back of the TV, and it’s no joke. The TV speakers alone were smart enough to simulate surround sound, and it actually sounded good! Still adjusting some of the display settings to match the environment it’s in but that’s not a problem. Only downside I’ve found so far, using a soundbar with an optical audio connection seems to create a delay between the video and audio. Not sure if it’s the tv, the cord, or the soundbar, just something I’ve noticed. That said, this is still an incredible TV! And the price was just right. I think I caught a sale where it was a little over $800. You won’t regret it! Delivery was quick and seamless, thanks Best Buy!

After doing some research. I landed on this TV. Had never really owned a TCL so i was skeptical. I didn't want a TV with it's own OS because i didnt want to deal with a TV that doesn't get updates. I don't like Fire Tv. So I gave the Google Tv a go and it's been great. Updates are good and voice commands are great. The tv is huge. It's a two person haul. In the box it's like a 100 in tv. The sound is superb. It has a built in woofer. So it sounds deep. It gets reaply loud. I wouldn't bother with a sound bar. Virtual sounds works really well. So far nothing negative. And this has high refresh rate which i love. Ppl say u dont notice it unless you watch sports but when you're streaming action. You notice the difference. 60hz was never going to cut it for me. 144hz natively and fast motion to 288hz. I can game on this without issues.

85" Q6 TCL at a great price. Hard to imagine other 85" TVs being better than this at 2 or 3 times the price. Bright screen with great detail. Only downsides are no backlit remote and the clumsy Google operating system - should have been Roku.

I was initially torn between this TV and another similarly priced model from a different company that made the TV I was having to replace after 4 years. I’d purchased the other manufacturer’s TV in a smaller size at Christmas (before my big TV went out) and really liked the picture. Once this TV made it up on the wall, I was completely blown away by how bright and clear everything looked. Watching Moana from my couch on an 85” screen is a better viewing experience than sitting in a movie theater. It easy to set up, the sound is great, and I like how uncluttered everything is.

Love the clarity this QLED provides. We have never seen such a clear picture. You can even see the freckles, and razor stubble on their faces and their eye color. It makes you feel like they are right there in front of you. We also bought a sound bar, but returned it after we heard the sound on the actual tv. The sound was amazing. We love this tv! ❤️

I purchased this 85 inch tv as a Christmas gift for my husband. He absolutely loves it. The picture quality is amazing.

Great TV excellent picture even in brightly lit room! The refresher rate is 144 which creates a remarkable picture! And oriced right! You will not be disappointed!

I’m rating this television average on the overall spectrum of TV’s currently available. On the plus side the picture is good. It provides good overall viewing. Compared to the lower priced 1/2 of available tv’s the picture quality is very adequate. This tv is a great example of “you get what you pay for “. If you can afford a higher price tv then I advise getting one. If you can wait and save up for a better tv do it. Here’s some of the BAD stuff. 1) Blacks are not great. There’s a lot of white bleeding through. 2) trying to use the onscreen keypad for logging on third party apps is an exercise in total frustration. Expect to see a key press take 4-8 seconds before you can move to the next key press. Yeah, it takes that long. 3). Initially I had to repeatedly re enter the passwords for Netflix and Amazon Prime every time I went from one app to the next. I’m not sure how but That issue resolved itself overnight. 3) If you’ve previously owned TCL televisions don’t expect to be able to see the same menues and use the same procedures to set up and use your tv. As with most manufacturers and service providers they are have never hear of or can’t conceive of the old saying “ TF IT WORKS DON’T FIX IT “. Menus have changed, getting to important setting changes that were previously available from a single remote key are now hidden and require sorting through 4 separate menus to find. I’m referring to the screen sizing menu. I mean really, you buy a big screen tv to seen screen filling content and if the picture only fills 1/2 the screen you want to make the picture fit the screen. Why hide that ability behind 4 menus?? The TCL remote’s were previously small and fit the hand well. Now this tv’s remote is double the length and 25% narrower. I now have to search for and buy a more compatible remote-AGAIN- IF IT WORKS DON’T FIX IT!!! So my opinion on this TCL television is it’s Okay but not great.

Overall the picture and size was great for the budget. No issues there and it makes the living room look and feel great. The deal breaker for me was the in tv apps. There is a lot of apps to sign in enjoy without adding Roku, Apple TV, and fire sticks it’s conveniently place in the tv. So I thought. The tv will lag between apps. The issue I see was the app loading, lagging and not responding. I recommend getting an app platform like Xbox ps5 to connect to the apps with out issue.

I’ve wanted to start my home theater journey for a few years now and have been researching 75” an 85” tvs. Since im just starting, i have a reasonable “common sense” budget. I’ve had concerns about picture quality on 85” tvs because a lot of TVs in this budget range only provide 60hz refresh rate and that could be really noticeabe on such a large screen. After seeing this TV was 120hz, I watched a few reviews on youtube for the 98” version and was convinced that if people were saying the 98” tv is a good value then the 85” is like a good value too. This TV is a great value for the price. TCL also tends to be very competitive and often over delivers on what consumers want. I’m happy with the TV and i’m glad I bought it. I think it is a great entry level/budget TV to start a home theater.
