    I still like the ease of the Samsung better. But it's a good TV for the price. It was the display model.

    I have had 2 TCL televisions in the past including a qm8 in 65 inches. My older TCL tvs actually performed and showed better. Watching sports or standard definition is very grainy and unnattractive. I tried antenna and youtube tv and was shocked that my older tvs looked way better. I have spent hours on forums and setting tweaks to find the best settings still dont do justice for this TV. Very discouraged by this and wish i went the Sony, LG or Samsung route. I was quite sad that the return window has shorter than i thought so now i am stuck with a television that doesnt have the processing power of its competitors. For this price point and being a flagship television it isn’t worth the amount spent. There are issues with soundbar delays which i have trouble with both my vizio and klipsch so be advised. Also it had a hard time with the Xbox sound delay due to certain HDMI cables. Game mode has been a disaster, as it sometimes mutes the sound when toggled off and it downscales the resolution which i have no idea why. My other tv’s never did this. My qm8 65 actually looks and acts better than my qm8 85. Be cautious, I rather save someone else from making this purchase since i cant find a workable solution for this tv. I followed the youtube hype and pretty much took an L.

    Yep. This is the one to get if you're not springing for OLED. This TV is really a huge jump from my LED LG 65" bought in 2017.
