    Nice tv for the price. Large and prerty bright. I have other tvs in the house that have faster start up and processing but I am happy with this for my basement ...occasional movies and video games. Definitely more convenient than using my projector. However, the projector image was 140 in vs this 98 in. I still prefer the ease of ise, 4k clarity, brightness, and daylight viewing option of the tv vs projector though.The 98 in feels significantly larger than the 75 in in my den

    I wanted a TV to replace a projector in a dual purpose room that produces less heat and noise so I decided to give this TCL a go. When it comes to image quality it’s no oled but I was pleasantly surprised. The image looks really good for this price point. I had to adjust the color oob (too much magenta) but once that was done movies look good. I’m also able to play my Xbox at 120 without issues making COD an immersive experience. As long as you understand it’s not perfect (I would hope paying $30k for a 98” oled would allow me to say near perfect but that’s a luxury I’ll never have) you’ll be happy. I am!

    TV: 4 stars. Geek Squad: 5+ stars. First the TV. This is a big TV for a reasonable price! The picture quality is decent. Brightness and contrast are mediocre. My panel also had a bit of DSE but it was only visible on a black screen and it was not nearly as bad as it looks in the photo. The geek squad was great. They showed up on time and installed the TV perfectly. They were very friendly and polite. Ultimately, I decided to return this TCL 98s550 and get the Hisense 100u76 instead. The geek squad came to my house, removed the TCL from my wall and repackaged it in the box and took it back to Best Buy for me. Then they installed the Hisense. I am so grateful that Best Buy and the geek squad was available to help out with this whole process. And having a local store in town was a huge bonus.

    Although we were going for size, this TV far exceeded our expectations. For the price, I wasn't expecting the excellent upscaling, the high contrast ratios, and the well-designed smart platform. In addition, this TV has an analog background, so it doesn't strobe, and you don't have mysterious headaches (as long as you set your brightness above 35). This is not only a big TV, but also a very good TV. Also, the guys who installed the TV were fantastic.

    Great quality, great features, shopped around for several months, was after an oled, caught this 98” on sale with install coukd not beat it for the price! Honeslty saving 1000s over the oled, ill take it. I would highly recommend it, also ordered the beast moint for it as its a heavy until, they installed the unit flawlessly! Great service, great quality!

    The price was amazing! The clarity, colors, sound and size make this like having a movie theater experience right in your living room ! One of the truly best TV's I've ever owned. 4k, UHD, subwoofer Bluetooth...low light doesn't impact it as would be in a projector type unit/screen. I would recommend all jump on this as it is several thousand less than the competitors when on sale.

    Purchased 12/23 and had free installation with Best Buy. All I can say is wow! The colors, clarity and brightness on this tv is way more than I expected. Dont get caught up with all the different tv comparisons and extreme technical specs. Because once this tv is installed in your home you won’t regret it! Their is also a tv mount on “A popular website” that everyone uses that fits this tv and is full motion.

    Fantastic. The picture quality is great, the audio is amazing. Should have this TV for a long time. Was able to purchase it at $3,000. The box is massive. Be prepared to do some box cutting, and make sure you get the right mount, I Believe it's VESA 500x600. The computer in it seems to respond pretty quick. Very bright room it's in, three us still some ghosts but it's a very bright panel.

    I really like this TV. I prefer it much more than some of the more expensive brands. This TV can do a lot, the TV is a great picture and the remote is small and intuitive. I would recommend getting speakers and a receiver. It does gaming very well which is what I bought it for.

    Awesome TV, Great picture and nice sound this is our 4th one. The price is right, I paid over $4500 for a 50” a few years back. This TV blows that away. Highly recommend

    I must say the image quality wants you tweak with it is very satisfying coming from 3 Xbr Sony's that I already own it just has a lot of settings for you to play with for your own viewing experience on "98 inch TV you won't regret

    TCL has impressed me with their 98” model. It’s an extremely large monitor, with outstanding depth of colors, and sharpness. An unexpected surprise was the sound quality! A soundbar isn't even required. Highly recommend this TV.
