Bought this sound bar to pair with our 60 inch Onn flat screen which has horrible sound. Setup for the bar was a bit disappointing as I bought it because it had HDMI connect ability which would allow me to connect it to my tv without removing it from the wall as the other connections are hard to reach, however this bar doesn’t work with HDMI for my tv. The bar comes with several different cords for options to connect which is great thankfully. I had to remove my heavy 60inch flat screen from the wall to connect optical which is the only option that worked with my brand of tv. The remote is ok, and the sound is decent and works for us because our tv room is small, but it has no bass for when we listen to our music. Overall does the job and not too expensive so we are satisfied.

Does it have all the inputs others have, no. Does it put out good sound, yes. It just depends on how well your hearing is to determine if you can hear the clarity in other sounds bars. If you are super crazy about the little sound details maybe not for you, if your looking for something to replace you new TV’s small speakers then this is your sound bar. Plug and play. Sounds better than factory tv speakers by a long shot.

Synched right out with my smart tv remote after plugging in. No setup or anything. Great sound quality, great price, no setup, and fits great under my TV. What else can you ask for?

I absolutely love the sound bar it’s lightweight it sits in a great spot in my house the sound is amazing. The pricing was even better!

I recently used my sound bar for a party under my outdoor pavilion. I purchased the sound bar instead of more expensive speakers. The tv sounds great as well as my karaoke.

Pretty much we bought this item for my daughter's TV because the sound is messing up. But she is only able to use it for Bluetooth through her cell phone tried every plug in the back of the TV nothing is working so I'm going to have to return this product other than that it sounds great just could not plug it up to my TV

Our family are not audiophiles. In fact, I have hearing impairment. In the past, I've relied on alternative methods to hear the vocals of the shows we watch, but with this soundbar I am able to enjoy the viewing experience with my family. Hooked up to the ARC on our TCL tv and it's fantastic. I'd highly recommend this if you just want clearer better amplified sound. This is probably not the right fit if you're a true audiophile and cinema junkie....

This sounbar has it's pro's and cons. The overall sound is good. The volume has to be turned high though. Depending on what I am watching dialogue is hard to hear sometimes so I have to turn volume really high then when there is an explosion etc. I have to turn volume back down. It's great that even with volume high there is no distortion in sound. I liked that it came with all necessary cables etc. to hookup to my television. I really liked that setup was fairly easy. I connected my sounbar via the HDMI cable connection of my TV.

So far, so good. I was looking for a low priced soundbar for my master bedroom. I'm happy with the purchase. The sound is definitely an improvement over my existing TV speakers and the bluetooth functionality works well for streaming music.

I bought a TCL 8 Series TV a few months back, had a sound bar with it. The sound bar I had was an old insignia one, worked great and all but I wasnt impressed how I needed to separate remote to control the tv, a remote for the volume (sound bar) and a remote for our dish tv. So to make things a little smoother, I replaced my previous sound bar with this TCL one. The tv and sound bar communicate well through the HDMI Arc port. I can now use the tv remote to navigate around my apps and control the sound. All in one. The sound quality is great, super easy to setup and get going. Glad I switched. I gave this 4 stars because my first one was lacking the LED light. I'm assuming it shorted out. It never lit up when I set it up. So I went back for an even exchange, second one works great. No issues.

Just recently purchased this (and ripped open the box first thing) to go with a TCL TV I got last year and have absolutely loved (CNET or the blue shirts didn’t lead me astray!). It was super simple to setup and I was pleased it included extra cables and a wall mount as a few less things I’d have to buy. To say the least, I’ve been overly impressed with the sound quality and the deep bass this Alto 7 puts out considering it is a 2.0 vs. their 2.1 model, and to my surprise it also hasn’t shown signs of sound distortion at higher volumes (which my neighbors have loved to hear me testing haha). Also love how simple the Bluetooth pairing is when I want to switch from TV audio to play songs from my phone or computer. Looking forward to continually playing tunes and movies on this bad boy and growing my love for all things TCL, they certainly continue to impress!

I wanted a sound bar for my bedroom, this devise was perfect, and a great price point. Hassle free setup, and came with everything I needed to mount it. Easy switches to Bluetooth from my TV setting, and has a toggle to switch sound setup between Music, and movies.

Good sound, way better than tv speakers, hook up pretty easy, took a little time to figure out how to make it work with my dish remote, but finally got it. Bass was a little disappointing, but not bad for no separate subwoofer, like I said still way better than TV speakers. Would be nice if it had separate control for bass. Overall we definitely like it !

I basically bought the cheapest sound bar that had HDMI audio hook-up. Bonus that it was on sale. This TCL has not disappointed. Tested it out with a Star Wars movie; great sound. Just plugged it in, connected the HDMI (included!!!) to the HDMI ARC port in my TV; set my TV to accept to device under settings, and , voila! I feel super elite with my new digital sound-system haha My older TV's speakers were starting to go out so this is also a great way to extend the life of my TV.

As an entry level soundbar goes, I got what I expected for the price. It pairs great with my TCL TV so I'm down to using one remote (mostly...). The sound is noticably improved/clearer than factory TV speakers, just don't expect to feel any bass. After owning it for about a year, I've noticed that the range of sound output increases as the sound is turned up; there is a certain threshold where suddenly the highs and mids noticably seperate and produce a more rich soundscape than on lower volumes, even producing noticeably punchy lows that weren't audible before. There's probably some sort of post-processing happening in the sound bar that is directing sound to the various speakers differently based on volume. So keep that in mind if you have an apartment with thin walls but want to experience the best this sound bar can offer. If you need to save some cash or don't care about surround sound/dolby atmos support, I really see no reason to spend more for other stereo sound bars unless you absolutely need a subwoofer. I'm an audio snob with no cash, and have been happy with this purchase. It will eventually get passed down to one of my kids for their room and I'll upgrade to a Dolby Atmos bar, but I don't feel like I'm missing out on much so I'm not terribly pressured to do that yet.

We purchased a sound bar, in hope that it would provide sound quality that would help both of us hear spoken words more clearly during TV viewing. While there was barely a discernable difference in the sound quality vs. the TV's internal speakers (disappointingly), we can state that we hear dialogue/spoken words more clearly, with the volume at a modest level, with the TCL sound bar. While set-up is simple and straight forward, initially, the sound bar wouldn't produce audio and I called TCL tech support. The tech couldn't find any issue with my set-up and had me try several different things. Finally, she had me reverse the HDMI cable and we had audio. Thought this might be helpful for someone facing the same set-up issue. I can recommend the product if you're a senior, looking to turn off closed captioning and start hearing spoken words with the volume at "normal" level.

The soundbar has great soumd quality and easy to use and set up. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it didn't say that in order to hook it up with an HDMI cable your tv had to be compatible with some kind of new HDMI connection. I guess this soundbar is really new so the HDMI connection is some newer version. That's fine, I just used the regular analog connection or whatever it's called. Overall great product.

Using it in a medium sized sun room paired with a TCL TV. Have had zero issues with any TCL product and they are super affordable. Produces good quality sound. If you're looking for something cheap and reliable here ya go.

I bought this on sale. It was a good deal I would recommend to anyone looking for a simple soundbar. This was a gift where the recipient was very happy with the quality. There were some issues with cord lengths but that was taken care of by there being basically every cord needed for setup. Remote works well with it. Connecting to Bluetooth was very easy. The hdmi being a certain type I would have preferred to know about before hand since it is one of my easiest ways to connect a device and isn't compatible. Instead the 3mm cord worked perfectly and was long enough to place the soundbar where it was wanted without an issue. The power cord is somewhat short, I had to use a small extension cord to plug it in. Besides cord lengths, the product is really great.
