I really do like the item very much. Very quiet. The app works off and on (I didn't buy it for this feature) Would buy it again if I didn't run into some with the filters. The Filter is getting harder and harder to fine. Best Buy doesn't even sell them anymore. I reached out to TCL a ticket was created, but they never followed up. Don't buy unless you know how to make your own filter. Or you want to try to make it into some fine art item.

This is actually my third air filter, so I have quite a bit of experience with them, and different brands as well. I have to say this is by far my favorite by miles. It was just a little bigger than I expected, but so much smaller than I’m used to without missing a beat. A little back story I’m asthmatic, suffer from seasonal allergies, live in the south, and have a labradoodle, so air quality in my house is something I take very seriously. I put this in my main bedroom where my dog and I sleep, and when I say the improvements are so noticeable?? The design is great, and I like anything I’ve seen prior to this TCL. There’s a ring of light that goes around the entire middle of the unit that you can use as an optional night light and I love the fact it’s optional. Which brings me to the app, I am very big on “smart” products and I was able to get my wish with this unit, while being able to get a good insight into what’s going on with the air in my home. The sleep mode is quiet as a mouse, and the highest setting is of course much louder, but not obnoxious. I would honestly replace this TCL with my existing air purifiers and that says a lot. You won’t regret it, and it looks great in any room or space.

Love this in my office. I recently moved into a new office space at work and thought this would be perfect for my new location. I was right! The took the new paint smell and moving dust out of the air overnight with no return. The 360 design is perfect to just place on the corner of my desk and let it run. Has a clever “auto shield” mode that can measure a room’s air quality to then set the filter to the appropriate setting to get your air clean. Alexa makes this a handsfree device which is cool but doesn’t really make a huge amount of difference to me. I do like however that it is entirely controllable from my phone using the free app. It also allows you to check air quality history ad unit status. Has a nice off timer feature which I like to set when leaving for the day. Also has a nighttime mode if you wish to reduce noise but I sort of like the ambient background fan noise over silence.

There are two important things for me in an air purifier: it must work well and be easy to use. This does both and looks good while doing it. It is very stylish compared to other options. It has a light ring wrapping around the middle that you can adjust the brightness or, or turn off. There are 3 levels of filtration on this device: a pre filter, a heap filter, and an activated carbon filter. Additional you can turn on the shield mode to activate UV sterilization. It takes in are all around the base, for maximin input. I’ve been using it in a room that is about 250 square feet. This is the perfect size of device for this situation. I set it on auto and just let it run. At night, I do set it to sleep mode which makes a great white noise - not too loud and not too quiet. I also put this in a 150 sq ft room after it was painted. The paint used was low VOC, but it still had very strong off gassing. After running this for an hours, it made a great difference. This isn’t probably the best use case for this device, but it was nice to have in this instance. The controls are on a horizontal strip on the top. It is very obvious when a feature is on, as it is lit up. The icons are clear and it is very easy to see what is enabled. The app also works well. You can also integrate this with Google home and it can be controlled with the Google Assistant (Alexa should work too, but I didn’t try that). The Google Assistant worked well, but honestly I’ll just leave the device running in auto mode most of the time.

Set up approximately 5 minutes with installing filter, downloading app and checking all functions. First thing I noticed when fan on low speed, can hear a fan motor noise. Increase fan speed and air noise then covers the fan motor noise. Other purifiers that I currently own do not have this noise, just normal air flow noise. However, when on sleep mode, is very quiet so that is a plus. The best part of this purifier is functionality. Can absolutely control all functions from the app with ease. I unplugged the unit to move to another room. It was approximately 1 hour before I had the time to plug it back in and found it reconnected and worked immediately with no problems. There is a cool looking night light ring that wraps around the entire unit and you can adjust its intensity. Very stylish and has a small footprint, can easily place in a corner or on a table. Has rubber feet so it won't slide and also buffers noise transfer if on a hard floor. This purifier has many great features, Easy to use app or can control manually. Breeva Shield anion/UV-C function. Air quality indicator. Child lock. Auto control and Filter change indicator.

I couldn't wait to use a smaller size air purifier that I was waiting on for just my bedroom. My bedroom is a little bit bigger than the square footage the direction says it covers, but it did really well with my size which I believe is like 310 square feet. I typically have issues with the dust from the vents. I haven't had a chance to get the ductwork cleaned out yet, but I'm working on it. So I wanted to see if this would help me out in that department, and so far so good! I didn't wake up clogged up, and sneezing like I usually do. The air had a fresh smell to it, which is weird to say out loud, but it did have a clean feel. I like the fact that this has Wi-Fi and I can use the app with a little bit more features, but what I don't understand is why the panel lights can't dim out or turn off at night time. The light is kind of irritating when you are trying to go to sleep and you can't dim it or turn it off in any kind of way, except for sleep mode which turns the fan all the way down. This is something that I hope they update with the app or some other kind of way. Other than that this is really good and I definitely recommend it to people who have Dusty little rooms LOL.

TCL’s Breeva A3 Smart True Hepa Air Purifier works well enough, and is competitively priced. Everything works pretty well with just a few shortcomings. The purifier itself is nothing flashy, made of mostly plastic. This purifier works well enough but it doesn’t look or feel “premium” to me, and it’s a little bulkier then I think it needs to be. But other than that I’m happy with it. The touch controls are located on the top, do you have the on off button, and speed, timer, child o’clock, a little icon that tells you when it’s time to change the filter, and a symbol that it’s shaped like a leaf that tells you how clean the air is at that momement. When it is white that means the air is clean, when it is orange I miss theirs some particles, I smoke in the air, and when it is red that means that the area is very contaminated. With that being said, everything I just talked about that you can do with the touch controls, you can also do through the app. The app is called TCL HOME, pairing the app to the air purifier was simple and fast. The app is pretty self-explanatory and very easy to use, and works well enough. I would take a minute or two to read the instructions, you’ll learn a thing or two. Also the filter can be removed at the bottom, make sure you remove the plastic bag before use. So there you have it folks, a pretty good air purifier at a pretty good price, with pretty good features.

I have another air purifier and my only knock against it is the overall design of it. I wanted something that blended well into my home and was not an eyesore. This TCL is exactly what I would want in an air purifier. This is my first experience with the TCL brand and I am definitely impressed with the design, value and technology. The setup was simple, the app is headache free and the voice control through Alexa or Google is useful. I have this set to "Auto" during the day and "sleep" at night. Both work really well to keep the air in my bedroom clean, there is a noticeable difference. There is nothing I would change about this device and I look forward to trying other TCL products.

The Breeva is quick and easy to setup, without any hassles. It took less than 10 minutes to be up and running. A nice surprise was how quiet the Breeva is. The volume is very unobtrusive, which I need since I work from home. Auto Shield mode is very cool, as it allows the Breeva to detect the air quality and adjust its performance automatically. This is more of a set-it and forget-it approach, which is what I always look for in smart home devices. The TCL Home app makes it easy to control remotely, which just adds to the convenience and flexibility.

Really easy to get going, open the bottom lid take the plastic off the filter, put the filter back in and put the bottom lid back on. Plug it in and turn it on... easy. On the low setting you hardly hear it. On the high setting you do hear wind noise. For an air filter it has a small landscape which is nice.

I've been using the TCL Breeva A3 air purifier for a couple weeks now, and I can tell you it does a great job at clearing the air. I use this purifier in my bedroom/office, and the air has never smelled so fresh in here. The Breeva A3 is a stylish black cylinder shape, bisected by an indentation that makes it look like a plump hourglass. The purifier has touch-sensitive buttons on top. The air filter sits inside the bottom half of the unit and the fan is in the top. Setting up the Breeva is quite easy; just remove the unit from the box, unwrap the and reinstall the air filter, and plug the Breeva A3 in. Controls on the top of the unit are as follows: • Power • Fan speed (Sleep, Auto, Low, Medium, High) • Timer • Filter change indicator • Air quality indicator (white, orange or red depending on dust/odor in the air) • BreevaShield UV, which kills bacteria and other nasty things • Child lock • Ambient light, which controls a ring of yellow LEDs around the center indentation of the purifier cylinder. The purifier can be controlled using the buttons on top or through the TCL Home app. Setting up the app requires bluetooth and wi-fi connections, and can be accomplished fairly quickly. Once the purifier is added to the app, custom controls and information become available in the app. Users can control the purifier fan speed, activate the UV-C mode, define a favorite profile, set the purifier to turn the panel lights off in sleep mode, and control the brightness of the ambient light ring. The app also displays an Air Quality Index that corresponds to the dust/odor indicator on the panel, as well as the number of hours of remaining life on the filter. All-in-all, the TCL Breeva is fairly easy to use and accomplishes the basic functions of an air purifier well. Unfortunately, there are some drawbacks I noticed as well. The first of these occurs when removing the purifier from its box. There is no handle or handhold anywhere on the Breeva, meaning you're left to remove it by pulling on the bag it comes packed inside of. People who like to move their air purifier between rooms will not appreciate the lack of a handle. Second, the panel buttons make a beep sound whenever they're activated, and the beep is quite loud and annoying. The beep also occurs whenever you change a setting within the app, which makes it extra annoying. It's good to have some feedback that your change has taken place, but the beep here is far too loud. Thankfully it occurs only when making a settings change. Third, the app isn't as customizable as it should be. As I mentioned above, I use the air purifier in my bedroom. I'm one of those people who likes to sleep in a very dark room with a fan on, and though I find the Breeva to be a good-sounding fan to sleep to, I'm disappointed that I can't have the fan on and the panel lights off. Breeva offers a sleep mode, which allows the user to turn the panel lights off, but "sleep mode" is set to turn to fan down until it's almost inaudible. You can't have it both ways. This needs to be addressed in an app update! Finally, I'm not pleased with the integration into the Google Home ecosystem. It was easy enough to link TCL Home, add the device to my home, and put it in a room, but the first command I tried "Set the air purifier to medium" didn't work. Neither did "set the air purifier fan speed to medium." I later learned that TCL calls its medium speed "Mid," and I have to very specifically say that in order to get the purifier to respond. Additionally, I'm able to turn on the ambient light from my phone screen while Assistant is open, and even control its brightness, but I can't turn it off. For that, I have to press the button on the purifier itself. I'm not sure if this is a shortcoming of Google, TCL, or both, but I hope it gets addressed in a future update.

The TCL Breeva is the first TCL product I have had the honor of owning. It is rare that I would open a review with such verbiage. The Breeva is an absolute power-house mixture of tried-and-true technology along with hi-tech marvel. A marriage made in heaven if you ask me. First a little about me and my environment. I have decided to place the Breeva in the Main bedroom as my wife and my dog shares this space with us at night. Since it fits the recommended dimensions, the Breeva seemed like the perfect product. My dog is not a young puppy anymore, so of course there is a lot of fur and dander in the air at times. Along with... Well... Smells. Can the Breeva keep up? Yes, yes it can. The Breeva *LOOKS* its part. A black, modern, cylindrical design maximizes filtration and the ability to look great in any space. The best part of this product is that it produces next to no noise. And along with the trusted HEPA technology as part of its five-stage filtration system, it also utilizes UV-C sterilization. Yep. UV-C. The same that is used in hospitals if I am not mistaken. Hepa already can manage particles as small as mold, viruses, and bacteria. But the added UV-C gives you the peace of mind knowing these are taken out of circulation for good in your space. Speaking of which, the Breeva includes the ability to connect via using Wi-Fi via the TCL app. I love the ability to see exactly what the Breeva is filtering out (firmware update is suggested) along with the ability to control the "ambient lighting" which is PERFECT for the space I am using it in. It is not overbearing. And works perfectly as a night light. When I first plugged it in, I had to turn it on high to hear if it truly was as quiet as stated. It is. Compared to an older product, this is one-fourth the noise. And it works a ton better than the older unit! Even so, I have it in "auto" mode now which lets the Breeva self-regulate the speed needed to clean the space most efficiently. After using the Breeva for a couple of days, I can notice a VAST difference in the air quality in our main room. So much so, that I am contemplating getting another unit for my office! In my reviews, I will state if a product is good or not. Rarely will I state a product is a must have for everyone. This is one of those situations! The Breeva A3 is a MUST HAVE for every household or office! And for the price, this is a giant bargain for what you are getting! Hurry up to your local Best Buy (or order online at bestbuy.com) and get one soon --- before they are ALL gone! (Yes, I said that). :)

I have this running in my office. I have it set to auto. It's fairly quiet for the most part. Every once in a while I notice the leaf icon turn from white to orange, and the speed picks up for a few minutes. I also notice this when my wife is getting ready for work in the morning when she uses her hairspray (bathroom is next to office). It fits perfect into a corner and out of the way. It's nice to have for peace of mind. Likes: 1.) Quiet 2.) Looks good 3.) Good coverage Dislikes: 1.) N/A

This Breeva hepa air filter does an amazing job of cleaning your air and looks good doing it. It looks just like an accent table and blends well into any decor. More companies need to put this much thought into their products to actually make them look nice. It's main job, air cleaner. It performs this task beautifully. I had it set up for a couple days in the master bedroom and I no longer wake up stuffy. The air smells fresh when you walk in. I leave it on sleep mode all the time. I barely notice it, the air from the furnace vents is louder. Having the uv light is great, especially heading into cold and flu season. The "buttons" on the top are too fiddly. Strange symbols, lights on to bright then off and you can't see them and touch the wrong thing. but I love using the app to control the purifier, that makes it easy. The night light is great too. I would also like to see a folding handle to make it easier if you want to move it around the house. All in all, my favorite air purifier I've had so far. Replacement filters also don't cost an arm and a leg.
