I've had these headphones for a year now, and I must say they are really good. I was skeptical at first, but TCL has blown me away with the overall sound tone, and quality bass. I love the smooth look and finish of the headphones as well. As a whole, I'm really happy I purchased these headphones.

Constant green light that doesn't go away is getting on my nerves lately. On top of that the battery gets drained daily and have to charge before using but the green light never turns off.

Seems to me the bad reviews must be due to defective units, and thus might be discounted, especially if someone dismisses the brand and model as uniformly no good based on only one unit. Mine has performed flawlessly. I bought this just before a vacation via air travel. I finally decided to be done with earbuds. They stink and I'm a dope for not having done this sooner. I now think that headphones are THE way to go for air travel. I read several positive reviews on TCL headphones, then pulled the trigger at Best Buy.
My review: Connection via Bluetooth is an absolute breeze. Much easier than with my Bose portable speaker. TCL noise cancelling really works - yes indeed - and is awesome, even when you're in an Airbus A380 and don't think you should need it! Sound quality seemed heavy on bass and low in mid-range UNTIL I realized my phone's equalizer was set that way. Reset to "Flat" and now the music seems balanced. I don't like boosted bass or treble but the TCL headphones can do it if you want. Sound strength is way more than sufficient. I run it at about 1/3 volume on my phone. Does the battery last? I charged it up before leaving for two weeks in Africa but mostly read and slept on the way there. Charged it again before leaving Africa (to be sure of a full charge) and probably used it for a total of about 6 or 7 hours over the three flights, reading, sleeping, and eating for the rest of the time. Then I put it back in its box at home. Been home now for about two weeks and decided to listen to some music with the headphones while I typed this review. My phone says the TCL is active with 90% battery. Don't know how that could be since the battery charge is supposed to last for 22 hours max, but it seems to show good battery life potential. The headphones are comfortable around the ears and you can pull up the top strap to keep it from pressing on the top of your head. Are these the best headphones out there? Can't answer that, but they're well worth the $80 I paid. I'm sorry but for me, the $200, $300, or $400 competitive brands seem too costly for something I only plan to use while flying.

I bought these for an upcoming vacation that involved flying. Here's my pros and cons of them:
+ Comfortable. I wore these almost non-stop for a flight from Chicago to Las Vegas. Unlike my gaming headset, I didn't need to take these off after a while to rest the area of my head where the band rests.
+ Fold up nicely. My previous BT headphones just folded flat with the cups rotating 90 degrees. These fold up to a compact form to get easily stuffed in a bag. Only thing I would suggest is a hardshell case.
- Buttons are mushy. Theres no distinct feeling when pushing the buttons. Only one you know you've interacted with is the NC switch, which clicks when moved. The power button is specifically finicky. I've had to try activating it two or three times to get a success.
- Noise cancelling isn't great. Its more like noise suppression. Like I said, I wore these for a four hour flight. The plane (Airbus A320) was noisy. When the noise cancellation was on, it dulled the sound, but didn't cancel it out. But I can't expect that much from an $80 pair of headphones.
And the items that are meh (not bad, but not great)
* Micro-USB. When you can buy an unlocked phone for $150 with USB-C, it's hard to justify micro-usb on all but the cheapest things on the market.
* Volume. Some of the things I was listening to sounded normal on other devices sounded slightly muffled on these.
Overall, I would recommend these for a basic pair of noise-cancelling BT headphones. They certainly aren't Bose or Sennheiser, but they're good.

End up getting a good deal on them during Christmas . I like them a better then the TLC the sound it better . So I gave TLC headphones to my husband and he likes them . They were good for the price .

I bought these for my wife and she loves them . Especially when she is on the plane sitting next to one of those people.
They sound great and she loves that they are stylish - they are not like the black ones I bought for myself.
The buttons are a little confusing .
I wish they had one button for Bluetooth - and not Have to hold down for connectIng.
They are very good for the price , yes I would buy them again.

I've tried a few different wireless headphones over the years, and I found the TCL ELIT400NC to be among the more comfortable yet affordable ones. The sound quality is good, they sit well around the ears, and the battery life is impressive. I've been using them almost everyday for a few months now, and there's absolutely no wear and tear.

At first I was having issues with low volume, weak bass, and muffled treble in Windows 10. To fix:
1) Connect your headphones to the computer's bluetooth and lower the system volume.
2) Left click your speaker icon next to the clock on the Windows task bar. Your current playback device should be listed. Click the up arrow on next to it. Select Headset (TCL ELIT400NC Hands-Free AG Audio).
The sound quality is so much better and it is nice and loud! Great bass! Unfortunately using the Hands-Free playback device, your spacial sound options are limited to DTS Sound Unbound. There is no support for the free Windows Sonic and that is why I've deducted a star for these headphones.

Outside of the PlayStation Wireless Golds and my Aftershokz headphones, these were my first actual pair of over the ear bluetooth noise canceling headphones. I've had them for 2 months now and it is quite a difference from earbuds.
I use them for during work, at home, and sometimes when playing my PS4. They're very comfortable and I can wear them for almost an entire workday with very little fatigue when compared to other headphones I've worn for work.
Spent days going back and forth between these and the super fancy Sony ones but decided to stick with a cheaper option to really test if these type of headphones are worth it.
The thing stopping this from being a 5 star is that for some reason 2 weeks into using them, the left ear cup when using noise canceling has got some sort of error. It sounds like a wind tunnel and is a bit distracting. I haven't used it since and I'm kinda bummed about it! 2 weeks after my purchase date was the beginning of shelter at home so I haven't been able to take them in store to get checked out and it is too early in owning history for me to make use of the 2 year geeksquad protection. I would like to know what's going on though and how I could possibly get this addressed without activating my GSP.

I purchased this pair of headphones on a whim because of its attractive price point. A hundred bucks for noise cancelling headphones sounds pretty nice! But despite being a comfortable pair of headphones, the sound quality is absolutely horrendous. A good pair of headphones should generally sound loud enough at 66% volume, but these were way too quiet. The bass was fine, but the treble output was poor and a noticeable noise floor is present when any sound(s) are played.
The noise cancelling is okay. Nothing perfect, it does cancel out the majority of sounds, but I'd you're looking to block *everything* you won't find that here.
I wasn't expecting the world, but for $100 you can do a lot better.

Overall a very comfortable pair of headphones. Good overall sound, very clear and well defined midrange and highs, low end is a little lacking. When these headphones are pushed with heavy bass you may notice where they drop off in sound quality. But for under $100 you will be hard pressed to find phones that are much better. You can use these as either wired or wireless, wired does allow for higher fidelity listening. Good battery life.

I bought these as a gift for someone. I think they sound pretty comparable to my Bose, believe it or not. Not quite as good, but close. The noise cancelling works well. The only issue is they are a little complicated to work for an 86 year old who can't see too well. We have to set them up for him. He can't even figure out which switch to use to turn them on. On the Bose Quiet Comfort 35 series, You have one switch, an up and down volume and a pause button. The switch does double duty for on and off and pairing. The TCL has a bunch more switches. If you are okay with complexity, these will by okay for you.

These headphones are very good. The noise is blocked out and you can walk around and never miss anything you are listening to. It is also good for not disturbing anyone else in the house if they are listening to a TV or Radio. Lightweight and easy to wear. The controls are a little hard to press on but with use you get used to it.

After having a pair of Bose die on me and then leaving my new Sony headphones on a plane, I decided that I should try something a little more affordable. I have a TCL television (and love it) so when I saw these, I thought it was worth the try.
TCL has done it again! These things are 95% of the performance of the Sony and, at least for me, actually more affordable! The battery lasts long AND they come with a cord so I no longer have to carry a second pair of headphones to use the airplane entertainment systems.
Well done TCL!

I'm very pleased with this audio headset's sound quality and fit. I have hearing loss so nice canceling is important for my online meetings.
The instructions are rather cryptic. I have not yet figured out how to use the microphone in the headset, nor have I figured out how to use it cordless via Bluetooth. As a result, I plug it into my microphone (not included) and then plug the microphone into my laptop so I can hear myself and other meeting participants via the headset. The cord provided is quite short; I'd prefer to have a cord twice as long. Still, the purchase has been well worth the cost of the unit.

The headphones from TCL offer crisp, clear sound quality with a loud sound. The bass offered on the headphones is deep but not overpowering where you miss some of the higher notes. The sound comes out very well balanced. There is also a major difference between having the Noise Cancelling mode turned on and off. There TVs and soundbars have amazing quality for the price so I figured their headphones would follow suit and they DID! For the price of $99, this is an amazing option!
