The WOW factor!

Don't think that this soundbar is run of the mill, it's the exact opposite. The sound is so rich, it'll make you late for work. I place it right up there with Bose and Sonos! The surround sound is incredible and the sub produces low end window rattling bass. I ordered it and went to Best buy before it arrived. I wasn't impressed by what I heard at the store so I immediately got skeptical. Once I received it and installed it, I was blown away. The sound reproduction rivals the Samsung, Bose, and Sonos to which I've heard in the store. For the price, its under priced. And that's the bottom line!

This is my first time owning a soundar, and so I made to sure to research the specs that give me the most value for my money. Most important considerations: room size (sq ft.) number of sound channels available on the sound bar (2.1, 3.1, 5.1, 7.1), as this will determine whether the sound bar is powerful enough for the size of the room, whether the sound bar comes with a subwoofer, and whether the sound bar supports eARC connection (via HDMI, instead of the optical output cable). This TCL sound bar met all the required specifications, is very easy to setup, and can be configured so that your TV automatically connects each time it powers on, and you can even control the sound bar with your TV remote.

I have owned many different sound bars from Sonos, to bose and many more. This exceeds them on so many levels and that ray danz technology is amazing. The sound is crisp and clear and very loud. So much fun to play horror games and shooters. You hear everything.
Dont let this one slip by especially when on sale. You will never go back to any other sound bar.

Sound quality is more than I expected for a 5.1 soundbar without additional rear physical speakers. Just wish the remote had a backlit option but glad that my TLC tv remote take care of the functions for me.

Awesome soundbar. Tried the 75H, felt it lacked…this one is up there. If you own a TCL tv this is fantastic. Pairs perfectly with the TCL q7mk 98 incher. I own wed a Samsung 990c..while not as punchy, this will satisfy at $650.

This sound bar has more than met my expectations. I will admit that I am not an audiophile but just like a little low end to feel the rumble. This is my fist ever sound bar so I don’t have any other data to compare it to. The only negative I have found is that there is not much adjustment on the sound settings. You have low, medium, and high settings for bass and treble only. Depending on what you are watching you have to adjust the sound mode and bass/treble settings to balance the voice, music, etc. Now that I have had it for a few weeks to figure it out, I love the sound quality and can make adjustments quickly for whatever we are watching.

Overall good but misses at low volume

Sounds good at mid to high volume. For everyday listening when you want sound at a lower volume not so good. You can enable voice enhancement which helps, but the lack of lower frequency sound at lower volumes does not make for a good experience for me. I tried every configuration with my new TCL TV.

this thing is terrible. while, on paper, it has a superb array of features for the price ($400 at the time of writing), in practice it’s impossibly bad.
to keep this review short… the soundbar is doing some stupid processing that takes the surround channel, cranks up the volume, and shoves it into the mix just as loud as the volume of the center channel. what this means is that the stuff you’d normally hear only faintly from the rears in a multichannel system with discrete satellite speakers — background ambient sounds, such as crowd noise, traffic, dishes clinking softly, etc. — becomes almost as loud as dialog.
as far as i can tell, after reading through the manual repeatedly, there is NO way to adjust the levels (or distance/timing, for that matter) of the various channels. the remote gives you three positions each for bass and treble, a voice enhancer, some typical “ai sound pro plus” room correction mode or whatever they call it, and… that’s about it. the app is threadbare and offers no additional sound adjustment features over the remote control.
i have owned the soundbar for about 20 hours and as soon as i hit the “submit” button on this review it’s going back into its box and back to the store, and i hope it never sees the light of day again.

Would not connect to Samsung TV

Speaker would not connect to new Samsung TV via HDMI designated port. Returned for refund.
