Bought this to pair with a 32" TCL TV. The TV's speakers left a lot to be desired. This sound bar and subwoofer combination has made a world of difference in both quality and clarity of sound. It works with the TV's remote (including turning on and off) so the only thing you need the sound bar's remote for is setting up it's wireless connection (for upgrading itself and using with Alexa, Google, or Apple Play) and adjusting the bass and treble to your liking. The only drawback is there is a bit of a range between the speakers and the sub that is lacking, but for the most part you only notice if you're really listening for it. Overall, this is a huge upgrade from the TV's own speakers and a great value for the price. It is definitely a budget friendly option for non-audiophiles. Very pleased with no regrets.

I bought this for the tv atcmy cabin. The product was very easy to hook up to my TCL tv. I am actually surprised on how good the sound quality is along with the bass it delivers. It sounds just as good as the LG sounds bar and sub i have at my house. I have I never bought any other brands other than Sony or LG before. I now have several TCL tv's and its my go to brand now.

Sound quality is excellent. Price is reasonable. Easy to use and size freindly.

This system has decent sound for me as I use it in a smaller bedroom. The dialogue is pretty clear and it has decent thump. The biggest flaw is that the soundbar and woofer don't seem to harmonize well as the bass often sounds like a sep. sound rather than mesh w/ the rest of the audio. The other issue; like most budget audio, it has no real graphical display, even for simple things like volume level. You have to rely on some dots on the bar itself to find the level of any setting. I give it 4 stars b/c this is used in a small room and not too often. If it were used in more and in a bigger room, not sure how much I would like it. The other issue

This soundbar rocks!!! Its super plug and play specially if you have a TCL TV. It does have some options that are not quite explained in any of the booklets and they could literally change the way the sound reflects in the room you end up installing it. (reason for 4 star review) But its an awesome devide and you should not hesitate to purchase it if you got the chance. Not to mention for the price it can definitely shake some walls...

Great soundbar for the price. Can be hooked up to your tv via optical cable or HDMI Arc. I use HDMI and I can control the volume with my recular tv remote so it’s not necessary to use two all the time unless adjusting actual sound settings on the soundbar. Sound quality is a big step up over the tv speakers. Very clear and bass can be bumped up for a more theater-sounding experience. Only thing I will say is if you have the money, spring for the set with the additional rear speakers for a more immersive experience.

Very easy to set up. I use HDMI to set it up to my TV which allows me to control it with the TV remote that was a huge selling point for me because previously I had to use two separate remotes for the sound bar and for the TV if you use the HDMI, then you only have to use one remote and everything is seamless this is pretty much the only feature that I have used as a pretty standard sound bar And it is wireless with that subwoofer, but the subwoofer requires plugging into the wall for power obviously, so, how wireless could it truly be?

This pairs well with our Vizio tv. And was easy to install

1) The sale price on the TCL S-3.1 was spectacular for the comparative features on this model. 2) Free delivery came in 2 days - great job! 3) Very easy to install, even the blu-tooth pairing was simple. 4) Love the center channel on the soundbar for tv/movie viewing. The clarity makes a big improvement over tv speakers. 5) The soundbar itself is a bit shorter than most, fits my location perfectly. Wasn't sure if it would be too long. 6) Subwoofer is compact enough to fit where I need it. Overall I Really am happy so far, but (isn't there always a but); The loud announcement telling you it has been turned on is truly annoying, a "ding" would suffice! The instructions are completely confusing, I have read them several times and am still trying to figure it all out. Instead of a message on the front there are just LED dots that show you are adjusting something. Sometimes I cannot actually tell what I am adjusting or, what I have just adjusted, or, to what the actual numerical level I have adjusted it to, is. Confusing? The Subwoofer, in my opinion for my location doesn't truly enhance the overall sound quality of video 4k/dolby or otherwise (seems a bit "rumbly" for my tastes) It does, however, work okay playing Music through blu-tooth. Overall I am very happy with this product. Maybe after I have used it more, and, hopefully figured out all the settings, I may rate it a 5* but right now it is a solid 4* maybe 4.5*!

This is an awesome Sound Bar. I can control how much Bass, Treble, that I would like. It makes my TCL Television sound so awesome and unreal. I really do like being able to select whether I would prefer Movie, Standard, or Sports as well, because you then you get better sound for each event. Sometimes I can't believe the Sound that is coming from it, it is AWESOME!

Easy setup, not a lot of bass, good sound quality. Poor documentation. Has to tell me the hdmi connection when turned on(why). I did not realize that since there is no on screen display it has audible messages every time a change is made.

Absolutely great sound for my bedroom, and the blue tooth works excellent, instantly paring with all my devices! For the price and the sound I would recommend this sound bar to anyone with a TCL TV. Both of my televisions 55inch, & 75 inch work perfectly with my TCL Sound Bars!

You can hear the effects as if they were in real life, very good audio quality, it looks super good under my TV, very easy to install, the components are of very good quality ...

Nice clear sound easy to install great quality reasonable price

Never had a sound bar before, but my ancient Harman Kardon surround sound was fricking up, and my TV wasn't providing enough volume. Got this, and was VERY impressed! Enough so that it makes me want to consider a sound bar system that has back speakers. But, considering the "boost" this sound bar gave to my current system, I figure I'll keep it for a while.

Really made a great change to sound from TCL Roku TV. I could actually hear the conversations above the excessive background noise in Movies etc. I would recommend this item to anyone, great sound without expensive system and simply Uncomplicated to install and use.

Wow, I didn't know how much of my shows I was missing until I got this sound bar! I had the volume turned all the way up on my TV before and it still sounded muffled. This sound bar focused the sound and makes everything more clear. I don't have to have it turned up nearly as high. 10/10 recommend!

This system put me right in the games on nfl Sunday. And the family loves watching movies with the surround sound system on.

Great 3.1 channel soundbar with subwoofer. I was looking to get more dialogue out of my cheap tv and this one did it. The subwoofer delivers an apartment friendly bass.

At this price point this soundbar is much better than it has any right to be. Dialogue is much easier to understand because of the third channel and the base is nice and balanced.
