    With all of the new TV's being manufactured that have the speakers facing the wall, this product is a must & I am very glad we purchased it in time for Antonio to install it with our new TCR 55". My wife & I are extremely happy with this product.

    If you are interested in this sound bar read this review first and then decide for yourself. The style is very trim and light weight due to it is all plastic. Nice looking than some. Now comes the sound. The sound is ok in some cases. It has standard, movie, music, voice, game, and sports. When it comes to bass it is terrible. There is hardly any bass sound in movies, music, etc. in any increments you increase it, except for standard where you might hear a increase. I said might, base on the source. The surround not good. Not much difference in increase. The sonic is useless. Doesn't do anything in increasing based where you are sitting. The DTS functions are not noticeable. I've been evaluating electronics and speakers for over fifty years and I am disappointed in this sound bar. Sorry TLC support group. Hoping your next model will be better and listen to the customers. Not someone who is paid to give a positive review in some cases or someone that works for the company. I know the business very well. This can be a good product. Customers know what they're talking about. Add more bass sound, better surround separation, more punch to the music. Add a built in subwoofer. That is the future for sound bars. Separate subwoofers are in the past. One piece sound bar is prefered. Too late for me to return it.

    Nice upgrade from an old RCA soundbar that I had for many years, works well with my TCL 65" TV. even with the different sound modes, though, could be a bit more clear... decent for the price.

    Ended up returning the sound bar. Voices, especially women's voices sounded raspy and not clear. The 3 stars are more for Best Buy's return policy and process than for the product itself.

    Its honestly not much better than the audio from my TV. I was hoping i would be able to hear it with the AC unit running, but it has to be super loud

  • Keeps causing screen to flicker and sound to cut

    This TCL soundbar is junk. Its plugged into my earc and it causes my TV to constly flicker and when its not doing the the sound cracks cuts in and out. This what happens when buy a cheap crappy product. Its my first and last time buying anything owned by TCL. There warranty service wants you to move and record everything how can you do that when does it when it wants to. Thankful I bought extended warranty with this. Hopefully Best Buy will let change it out for a better product i dont mind paying extra.

    Very loud, actually too loud in a lot of instances. Absolutely no base. We have a Vizio (that we can’t seem to find) that’s much better than this. So, if you’re looking for overall upgraded sound quality, look elsewhere.

    Good soundbar for the sale price

    I purchased this sound bar to pair with the TCL - 65" Class Q5-Series I got to upgrade my living room TV (well to replace the old Samsung 60" that crapped out on me after four years). It's a good sound bar for it's price, especially if you get it at the sale price. Part of me wishes that for $30 more (based on the sale price at the time) I had purchased the TCL - S55H 2.1 Channel S-Class Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer as there is minimal low end sound. However, I was aware of this and initially didn't want a subwoofer to go with my upstairs living room TV as I have a subwoofer with my 75" Samsung in the downstairs rec room...which usually wouldn't be an issue except our house is an open floor plan with floating stairs and no doors separating the downstairs from the main level, so sound travel. Additionally, be aware that this soundbar does not come with an optical audio cable so unless you purchase one separately, you will need to connect the soundbar via HDMI (yes I am aware that HDMI is better for higher resolution audio, but if you're like me and have multiple gaming systems as well as a Roku, you lose one HDMI port. For those wondering why I'm using a Roku when the TCL TV is already a smart TV...well IMO and experience the Amazon Fire TV OS is a lot less responsive and slower than the Roku).

    I bought this sound bar to go along with my 55" TCL TV. The set up was so easy I was blown away. Just to test the sound I put on episode 1 from season 2 of Andor and oh my God, I was absolutely shocked at the at the crisp and clear sound. I felt like I was right in the movie theater. You can't go wrong with this soundbar. With 100 watts of power and the simplicity of the setup. It was one of the best purchases I've ever made. I'm going to have to stock up on some popcorn for sure!
