It's a solid game, BUT...

I do like the new mechanics that come with the new team system, but it's better with friends. So make sure you've got people who are also interested, and possibly the online mode.

A solid racer

The handling is good and there's a nice adventure mode to keep you busy beyond just racing. The sound track is also incredible. But the stages didn't really click with me and the team racing mechanic isn't that much fun in single player.

I played a few hours of this, but it doesn't have near the amount of... star power... as the last game. If you need a kart racer that's not Mariokart 8, this will suffice.

Sonic is cool but...

Typical Sega... just never seem to care enough to made a high quality product. Mania is still the best modern sonic game. The menu screens don’t load. Or things on the maps just disappear. I miss Sega of the 90s. But those games are long gone.
