Its a pretty good game, especially for $40, but the Switch version seems pretty poorly optimized. It looks like its running below 1080p and dips below 30fps aren't super rare. The game has about a dozen different types of paint you can use on the cars but I can't tell the difference between most of them because the textures are so blurry. The game also uses a lot of motion blur with certain effects, which combined with FPS drops make me feel a little icky. It looks OK enough in handheld mode but is especially bad on the TV. If you mainly want this as a handheld game, I'd recommend it. But if you were planning on spending a greater amount of time on the TV I would recommend getting the game for a different system. 6.5 out of 10, would spend 2 hours racing with Coolmom85 again

This game is definitely a cloase rival to Mario Kart. Takes a little time for an inexperienced gamer to learn the controls but it's a fun family game to play on multi-player mode.

I bought this more my little brother and he loves it. I've played with him too and the game is honestly really fun and a cheaper alternative to Mario Kart. This Switch version seems to handle quite well and playing two player was still a smooth experience. Cheers!

Have a few young cousins that want to play on my switch and it's great for co-op as it's very team based, leads to great interactions between everyone v.s. more competitive racers. I play alone most of the time when they're done and the campaign was enjoyable.

The game overall is a good alternative to Mario Cart if you’re into cart games and have played Mario so much you’re bored with it. The tracks are well done and the racing controls are easy to pick up. A little harder than Mario Cart to win early races. Make sure you pick it up in sale.

Honestly when I heard about this game I thought it wasn't gonna be worth it but i decided to buy it and try it out and it turns out that its actually pretty good. Not bad and not great either but still a fun challenging racing game to play especially with your friends and family.

Sonic's Mario Kart with Team Play! This game is definitely designed to have fun with the family or friends or BOTH! Your CPU controlled team mates can be very smart or very stupid, but get friends involved and it becomes one of the best kart racers out there for FUN!

Is not a Mario deluxe 8 but it's a cool game with almost the same experience just not their yet! I purchased part 1 which is very similar too this game! I'm talking about sonic all stars racing!

Game is fun at it's core. The team doesn't treat it well though. Some reused content, no updates at all (especially on Switch), and no fixes for some things. Definitely not really a game for replay value, unfortunately but still fun nontheless.

Our family loves sonic games and have had quite a few since we have kids ages 25 to 6. The older kids loved sonic when they were 6 and 7 and yet again it's a family hit for our little kiddos

similar to the arcade game and lots of fun for those that enjoy racing style games. teens+ all had a blast playing this.

TSR is a fun game but I feel like they could have added more unlockable characters. The team aspect of the game adds to its uniqueness and I actually ended up liking the little extra difficulty.

My daughter wanted a similar game as Mario Kart deluxe 8. In my opinion this is the way to go for a little variety. Same type of game just switch control buttons to match Mario Kart.

Bought this for my 5 ur old son and he loves it! Similar to Mario cart, but with sonic. He couldn’t stop playing it. Also did curbside pick up. Once I hit arrived, it was out within 5 minutes!

This game is fun! I bought it for my nephew and we had a blast playing this one. Nothing complicated but enough to keep you interested. A nice racing game for kids.

The new game play mechanic of having a racing team can be fun as you can plan strategies to win courses. The level designs are larger than the previous games and detailed.

The game is challenging yet fun. The concept of sharing power ups is unique and adds some strategy to the game. However, the game is not quite as intuitive as other racing games and will take a bit of time to get use to.

This is perfect for my family. My kids are 6 years apart in age so it's hard to find something my son, husband and daughter likes. This game was a hit on family game night.

Its a gift to my grandson and he loves to play that game, curbside pick up is fast and easy, bestbuy people are working hard on that curbside pick up
