This is a charming, and whimsical game with a gorgeous and unique paper-crafted visual style. Everything from the visual look, to the enemy and character design and game-play mechanics followed and adhered to the same paper-crafted style with wondrous effect. It's a delightful game for all ages, and would especially resonate with younger audiences, though it can be difficult enough even for people very experienced with platformers as I was. The story itself was also pretty unique and built gradually into a beautiful ending on the nature of storytelling and sharing in general.

I never played the Vita version so didn't know what to expect going in but the game is pretty fantastic. It has a lot of charm and unexpected humor. Plus, it has poorly behaved squirrels, which is a bonus! (=^_^=)

This is a very fun and well-done re-imagining of the original version of the game. It makes very good use of the Playstation 4 camera and the Playstation app as well. Fun to play with daughters.

If you loved the original Tearaway on Vita like me, then buy Tearaway Unfolded now. I was shocked at how much this felt like a new game on the PS4. Since the DualShock 4 has different inputs than the Vita, there are new gameplay mechanics that drastically alter the experience. For example, the light bar and motion sensors in the DualShock 4 play critical roles in the story. Another mechanic I really enjoyed was simulating throwing an object into the controller (where you can hear it rattling around thanks to the speaker on the controller) and shooting it back into your TV. The creativity of the Vita version is also still intact, as you can use the DS4's trackpad (or the PlayStation companion app on your smartphone or tablet) to create objects for the world. All of this in addition to a couple of lengthy new areas that add hours onto the main storyline. Tearaway was a beautiful and wonderful experience on the Vita that not enough people played, so I hope more will give it a chance on the PS4 as this is really MUCH more than a port and a much different way to play the game. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the feeling of playing a character made out of paper in a world to match. Everything looked like someone cut up craft paper and used glue to make a lifelike game. In addition to looking amazing it was really fun to play. A good all around platformer. I loved it.

This whole game tries to look like stop motion animation. It mostly succeeds and is really beautiful. It is an inexpensive game made by Media Molecule who have a good track record. I recommend it!

Coming off of enjoying the original Tearaway on the PSVita, being able to play this on the big screen and amazing and a lot of fun (with a bit of a challenge in some parts).

Tearaway Unfolded is the bigger, flashier, Playstation 4 take of the Vita classic. Very cool paper style graphics and platforming puzzles.

This is a fun game but it is no different then the vita version and its not portable. So i would just stick with the vita version.
