Loses connection often & doesn't flip video

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this camera installed hanging from the ceiling of my patio kitchen so as a result the video is upside down. Strangely, live view shows the video right side up, but the recordings show the videos as upside down. On rare occasions the recordings would turn up right side up again. It's quite finicky. And this camera also has a tendency to go offline every few days. The only fix is to unplug the power and plug it back in to get it back online again. Because the camera is installed hanging from the ceiling, it's a huge pain to carry over a chair so I can reach up to the power plug to unplug and plug back in. My next solution is to connect the plug into a smart power plug that will let me remotely power off and power on. But thinking of it now, this isn't normal for this camera to be like this so I might have to take it to warranty to resolve. In fact, I also own another camera from this brand which gave me issues on the first day I took it out of the box. It was the Tend Secure Lynx Pro outdoor camera and it wouldn't fully charge for days despite being plugged in and not being used. I had hope for this brand's products but so far from experience there seems to be quality issues that need working on.

Good camera for the price

Also, had the camera pointing outside, after sundown the camera doesn’t pick up images.

Economical camera

Ok product ok price

The app crashes a lot and the cameras disconnect from WiFi for whatever reason (no it’s not my WiFi connection) adding a new device to the app is also such a hassle!! The price is fair and when cameras do record, it’s average quality and sound too. I recommend if you’re not trying to spend to much money but other than that I’d say look for a better product.
