Customers are positive about the Indoor Amplified HDTV Antenna's ease of use and picture quality, with many praising its simple setup and excellent picture on HD channels. However, customers are negative regarding reception and signal strength, frequently reporting weak signals and interference, even with adjustments to placement. Some also expressed concerns about the antenna's range and ability to receive a wide variety of channels. Overall, the ease of setup is a strong selling point, but reception issues appear to be a significant drawback for many users.

Pricey antenna that is about the same to maybe less effective than the $20 leaf antenna I was trying to replace it with.

This antenna may work in a less congested area, but where I live (suburban) did not provide any signal at all.

HD channels came in crystal clear. However, the antenna did not pick up any of the 3 major networks (ABC, NBC, CBS) despite the fact that they are the same distance and in the exact same direction as the stations I did pick up. It may work for you, but I returned it. I'd say it's worth a try.

I bought this antenna to replace a flat antenna hoping this one would be more omni-directional. However after a channel scan (over the air) it picked the same number of stations, but some pictures were flickering, in other words, not better than the flat antenna. I would have returned it but missed the deadline due to personal reasons.

I highly recommend. I tried other indoor antenna & did not get any channels because I was in the country. This one I got 18 channels downstairs & 21 channels upstairs. Got all local channels plus Antenna TV, cosi TV, comet TV, laugh TV to just name of few. Also 2 different channels versions of fox. I bet if you are located closer to network antennas will get even more channels. Going back to buy another one.

Recently purchased this antenna to pair with my Tablo Dual to deliver local OTA HD channels to my streaming set-up. (I live in the Salt Lake City area). I had high hopes for the Terk antenna as the promise of going with the Omnitower was a simplified and more aesthetically pleasing set-up compared to using an outdoor or the more commonly used "flat style" HDTV antenna. Sadly, in my area this antenna struggled mightily to pull in the ABC affiliate from only 13 miles away despite trying every amplified setting this model offered as well as moving it around the room. I wound up returning it for a Mohu Leaf50 amplfied which did a MUCH better job! (See my review on that model).

Can't really review this device except it did not get better reception than the RS model we currently have. We were told by the Consumer Reporting group to expect to try several models to find the best fit. We've had the current antenna (3rd of 4 we tried after the conversion) and try new models/technology as they come out (this is the 3rd we've tried since settling on the RS model a couple years ago). and answer to next question is YES only because we had a TERK antenna before the conversion and it worked fine - till we moved.

My family and I decided to FINALLY cut the cord with satellite TV. Chose this antenna after doing a lot of research on it. Tried it on 3 different televisions in my home and I have to say it works pretty good. Yes, the signal depends on where you place the antenna. We picked up the main local channels(in HD) and then some.

Wanted better reception than a cheap HD antenna in case the Dish went out during heavy rains this spring so I picked this item up. With the cheap antenna we were getting a few channels. This antenna costing easily 3 times more than the cheap antenna picked up ZERO channels. It states a range of 50 miles (from memory here so if I'm off a mile or two please forgive me .. Could have stated more on the package but not less!). Returning and will just keep using the cheap one. At least using it I get better than Zero channels!!!! Both the cheap antenna and this one were placed in basically the same location. Maybe the one I purchased was defective?

Sales associate didn’t seem to know anything about antennas. I wanted to make sure I could get local channels, didn’t care about anything else. I get nothing local, anything you want to see in any foreign country though.
