Works really well and rechargeable too yes please. Loved so much just went and got another one for my other tv. (Because the todler broke that one too lol). It is slim so i can easily fall between couch cushions.

I followed the instructions. I got to the last step, which said that the DVD player would turn off if you successfully completed the setup, which it did. After that, I tested the remote, but it did not work. I tried several times to no avail. So, I went to the website for help, but all I found was information for their antennas. Then I found a phone number. I could not get a line for help there, either. Therefore, I was left for calling Best Buy for help. They had to come out and it took a few minutes to get it to partially work. I have to turn on the DVD manually, but after that I can control the screen. If Terk had adequate help, I might have given it a higher rating.

I was hoping it would control my sonos with my tv, not separately. And, it does not turn my sonos off, only controls volume. But, you get what you pay for I guess.
