Picked up the Tesla Universal Wall Level 2 Charger from Best Buy and it's fantastic. Fast charging, looks good, and works with other EVs too. Had it professionally installed, safe, and the app control is convenient. Definitely recommend for any Tesla owner looking to install a home charger. It's by far the best option. Made owning the car 1000x better and less of a headache.

I love that it's compatible with both Tesla and non-Tesla EVs thanks to the built-in J1772 adapter, making it future-proof for any household. Charging speeds are impressive (up to 11.5 kW), easily topping up my Tesla overnight. The 24-foot cable is very convenient, and the cable management is clean. If you're looking for a reliable, high-performance Level 2 charger that blends style and functionality, this is it.

Nothing beats a low-cost universal charger! This will plug easily and directly with no additional adapters into any EV on the market. Cheaper than any other charger with up to a 48-amp charging capability, this automatically senses what size of breaker it is connected to, and will charge at the maximum safe speed given the level of current your house can send to it. It is sleek and simple, requiring no additional hook on which to coil its cord. Over the past 3 months, I've charged our Kia plug-in hybrid and our Tesla Model Y whenever needed and both easily charge overnight despite the fact that our house wiring could only support a 40-amp breaker and thus we can only charge at 32 amps. It is more than enough. The charger can also be set to charge only at times when utility rates are lower (generally overnight). Some EVs can also be set to charge only at certain times, but not all of them can do that. Our Kia can't. So this feature is a real cost-saver.

I recently purchased the Tesla Universal Wall Connector Level 2 charger from the Best Buy store on El Camino Real in Mountain View, CA, and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff was helpful, and the buying process was smooth. Getting the permit and scheduling the installation was surprisingly easy, and I had everything up and running in less than a week. The charger itself is sleek, works flawlessly, and provides fast, reliable charging. Highly recommend both the product and the store!

It just works. Clean design with aftermarket ability to customize. I only wish it had NFC capabilities so I could protect from who can charge on it and there were more details in the charging history. Would buy again!

Great product, very convenient to charge both CCS and NACS plug cars. Two in one, I was waiting for this model to come out. No need to spend additional money on the adapters if the manufacturer change the plug models. This charger must be hardwired. You need an electrician to install it, it was very easy also the connection to Tesla app very very easy as well and straightforward. The QR code to register your charger with the Tesla app is in the manual, the QR code on the charger itself is not for registration.. charger cable is 24 feet, ample cable to reach the far end of the garage. very clever design, highly recommended to buy.

It’s incredibly convenient. Instead of taking 2.5 days to charge the car on a level 1 outlet, it now takes only 4.5 hours. This is a great addition, as it future-proofs the car for the needs of power sharing and NACS/J1772. I highly recommend this for both current and future-proofing needs.

I have a 2023 Chevy Bolt and was recommended this charger by an installer….works perfectly! Also works well in conjunction with the Tesla app. Remember I have a Chevy Bolt but this works perfectly with my car and so does the app. This comes with adapter. The unit is sleek and cool looking.

Super easy install and looks great on the wall. Charges my blazer ev quickly and reliably every time. The universal plug is a huge plus for future-proofing, and the build quality feels premium. Definitely recommend if you want a clean, efficient home charging setup.

The look and feel of the product is high quality and sleek. I paid an electrician to professionally install it and he did an amazing job. As for the operation, it was fairly simple to pair with the app once you download it. The app has a scheduling feature that allows you to set charging times to match you usage and avoid peak hours. 4 stars because I use the J1772 adapter to charge my vehicle and it sometimes takes a couple of tries to conduct a proper handshake.

I bought this to replace my current Gen 3 Wall Connector-Tesla Tap charging combo. I've always appreciated both the quality of the Tesla Wall Connector and the flexibility, when combined with the Tesla Tap, of being able to charge any type of EV available in North America. The one minor annoyance was managing adapter separate from the charger and the Universal Wall Connector eliminates that issue with the built in Magic Dock. Now when I get home I simply push the button on the Magic Dock and get to charging. I also appreciate that Tesla kept the fundamental design intact so the Universal Wall Connector was compatible with both my midnight grey faceplate and pedestal. Highly recommend!

My brother, an electrician, and i installed this charger in my garage in approximately 3 hours, which included time to bend conduit. It looks and works great. It works with my Tesla app and i like the flexibility of NACS and J1772 charging with one charger. I really appreciate the electronic "lock" of the J1772 plug into the charger or on the working end of the chord. There is no need to be concerned about losing the piece. I can charge my Caddy, my son in laws Hummer, or either my other kids Tesla's....all with this one charger. 20 to 85% in about 5 hours.

I've been charging my Model 3 with a charger that uses a conventional outlet for a couple of years now. If the car had less than 20% charge, charging it up to 80% would take more than 24 hr. Finally got this Tesla charger, and I can get the same charge in a little over 4 hours. Awesome. Nice design as well.

I really love this Tesla universal charger. The set up was straight forward. I chose to hard wire mine to my breaker box. I love that this charger can transition between NACS and J1772 connectors. There is a button on the handle that allows you to choose your connector. I can even charge other Ev’s when I need to rent a car. The Tesla app also makes this charger easy to use. I use the app to program when I want my car to charge. I have mine set to charge from 11:30 to 7:00 am which are the cheapest rates with my power company. This is a great charger.

Bought this universal unit for my Ford Lightning and it’s been such a good purchase. I have a 60amp setup at my house, professionally installed by a Qmerit certified electrician. Super fast charge & no longer have to rely on the 110v Ford charger that came from the dealership. The Tesla app is also a big reason why I bought this unit compared to others. Scan the QR code, connect the unit to wifi, change AC charge rate to 48amp on your Ford app & plug it in. Easy as that!

Very good product. It was time to upgrade electrical panel to 200 Amp to futurize my house. I don't have the electric car yet. I like to be prepared. Its the convenience for me not having to go to charging station if i choose not too. Being that its a universal charger, my options are open on what car i will buy. Just think about it. If you had the money to pump your gas at home, you would. There would be fewer people at the pumps.

The adapter feature is awesome. Use it for our Chrysler minivan plug in and Model Y. Couldn't be happier. Easy install too if you know electrical or can do the work minus the panel work (for electrician). I'm using with a 40 Amp 240 circuit. Charges the van in 90 minutes and the long range Y gains 80 percent in less than 8 hours, as expected. Enough to give me 250 miles per week in one overnight charge. Awesome.

I love the versatility of this charger, being able to switch between a J1 and a Tesla charger. The adapter is well-made and has been bulletproof so far. The cord length is good, and the wall mount looks nice in my garage. The app is easy to use and has good features. You can control the charge periods to avoid peak energy consumption hours. I also own a portable level 1 Tesla charger, and the Tesla brand just seems to charge quicker than others. Highly recommend.
