I absolutely adore the fact that it is universally compatible, allowing friends with non-Teslas to charge their vehicles. The installation and usage are a breeze. If only it had a side holder like the older units, it would be perfect.

My only critique, there release button when it’s connected to either the car our the dock is under a rubber boot built into the handle design.

The delivery was fast. I had it installed and been using it for two weeks now. It’s easy to use and has a great performance so far. Hopefully it will stay that way as long as I have it. Happy for now!

I have seen other j1772 chargers for more and wasn’t impressed. This looks a lot better than rival products and has better interface than others. I tried one other brand and returned it before it even hooked it up. The quality felt cheap and the Tesla feels way better. I went for the hardwired option and it’s good for an outdoor application. Not to mention the Tesla looks more aesthetically pleasing than others.
