It had all the functions that I was required to have and the buttons are easy to use. It's only as complicated as you would make it out to be. TI calculators are a bit overpriced to be but it's a great calculator for my needs.

CFA approved calculator

It is one of 2 financial calculators approved for use on the CFA exam. I teach in higher education and it is the calculator I recommend to all of my finance students. Easy to use and very useful for all financial analysts.

Very good financial calculator

It has all the financial abilities needed for a graduate level finance course or for those that would use it every day. The only feature I thought was lacking is the memory feature of a standard calculator. Although it will store data points from a spreadsheet, there is no easy way to add or subtract numbers from a running total.

Reminded me of the TI I had 30 years ago. Told him this would last him as long as he needed it. You learn the functions and it does everything you need for financial purposes. Great calculator.
