This is a great show about two Russian spies during the Cold War. Very interesting with exciting twists. Different from other shows on television. Keri Russel does wonderful.

I procrastinated ever watching this show. For about 5 years I didn't give it a chance. I'm very glad I did. The premise of this show is unique.

Enjoyed brutal reality of US-USSR relations as played out here in America by KGB, CIA, FBI and other organizations. Depicts the human cost to the warring parties.

This is one of the best new shows on tv this past year. Keri Russell is great as a Russian spy, completely different than any of her previous roles. I love the time period of the show (the Reagan era) and how it ties real life events to the show. Can't wait for season 2!

Captures the relative paranoia of Cold War politics between the US and USSR in the 1980's...lead actors are excellent as is Margo Martindale as the Russian spy contact.

This show is awesome...point blank. I love how they tie in certain events in history--especially news clips, in with the plot. Can't wait for the next season.

Missed some of it on TV so got it to see what I missed. In re watching it I've falling even more in love with this show & hope for many seasons to come.

This TV show is awesome, my wife and I are hooked and finished watching the whole season in about a week. I only wish there were more episodes.

My friend recommended I watch this show. I missed Season 1 when it was on TV, so wanted to play catch-up and bought it on Blu-Ray. So happy I did!

Americans is a show like several of late (Dexter, Breaking Bad), that have you the viewer cheering for someone who isn't the typical hero. A story of cold war espionage right here on our own soil, it's exciting from one episode to the next.

This is a really awesome show. It has a great story line and great plot. If you like anything about spies or espionage, this is exactly for you!

At the recommendation of a friend - picked this DVD up from Best Buy and so glad I did. Wonderful series and can't wait for the next season!!!

The Americans is great tv show for anyone who loves a good spy or action show. This is a great dvd set and definitely worth buying.

Started watching on tv during the second season, so bought the first season to catch up. Excellent stories and great acting.

"Americans" is one of BEST dramas on TV. Great having the 1st season since I didn't begin watching until Season 2.

This was a great purchase as the show well done, much like all of the other DVDs that Best Buy carries.
