It's kinda like digital chess w/cool graphics, music, sound effects, and a good story. It's turn based so this might not be your jam if you prefer FPS games. Watch some videos and if you like the animation, story, and game mechanics, this will keep you busy for a very long time! I really like that it breaks up the gameplay with a story tying everything together! The sound affects, voice acting, and excellent writing will suck you in and set the stage and you try to strategize and utilize your troops to their maximum potential!

The Banner Sage Trilogy is an easy to learn and beautiful strategy game. The animation is a throw back to classic cartoons. The story is dark and subtly weaves player choices into the story. That said, this is not a game for everyone. I recommend this for players who enjoy turn based RPGs or strategy games.

Fantastic strategy gameplay alongside an excellent story makes this an unforgettable game! Such a cool art style and the characters are so good!

Every aspect of this games is like :the enemies are stronger than you, your people disagree with every decision you make and if they don't they starve to death anyway. For example, the objectively "right" choices are either burning your supplies to keep the enemies from getting them and losing morale for people who are going to starve to death anyway or losing one of your few in-battle protagonists. Sometimes every single choice you are given ends EXACTLY the same way no matter what because your enemy is literally the devil and he's smarter than everyone. To top this off the game takes place in norse mythology so Raganatok is still in play albeit jormagundr can't eat the world really quick because the dredge are complete jerks and didn't tell him christmas was canceled. Most of the good guys also have REALLY bad ideas 200% of the time and the ones with good ideas are again, already dead. That being said the struggle laid before you organically through this resource management srpg is really well done and the art design reflects the story's dire circumstances.

The third entry in the Banner Saga series just released weeks ago. If you haven't played any of the games, this package also includes the first two games in the trilogy. If you're into strategy RPG titles, this package offers you considerable value.

It is a really cool game with an interesting turn-based play like a board game. The story is very good, and the game plays well too. If you like the strategy board games, this is for you!!

Great game for a great price. Reminds me of playing chess. From moving strategically to combating foes. The Banner Saga really keep you on your toes!

I didn't know what to think when I got it but it's a great strategy game with a story that's dependent on your actions. Pretty neat game if you like turn based strategy.

I didn't know this series existed. I found out by accident while reading a review for another similar game. I'm glad I did. If your a fan of tactical games like Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, then this is a game for you. All three games in the series are included. The graphics are not on par with the aforementioned games, but its not about having the best graphics that makes these games so much fun. Its a recommended buy if you like these type of games, and for the price $19.99, it's a steal.

This tactical RPG has solid game play, the environment is beautifully rendered and the story is very compelling.

None of the games are on disc, you must download each game individually and then have the disc inserted in order to play. You are much better off just buying digitally.

I beat the first game of the three and it was really good. The mechanics of the battles are good and balanced. The only sluggish part is choice mechanics because it does not feel very engaging at least in the first game.

The exclusive poster was kinda disappointing, it’s a collection of all the characters. I was expecting some cool art. The game is fantastic though and definitely worth the buy. Great price for 3 games

This is an outstanding collection of tactical RPGs. A ton of memorable characters you wont' forget about coupled with fantastic story telling keep you coming back.

This game includes all of the game in the Banner Saga Trilogy for a great price. Pick this collection up if you want some engrossing strategy games to play.

It's king of Dragon pass combined with Final Fantasy Tactics. Viking themed. Been wanting the whole collection in one disc, glad ps4 has it.

Amazing game. I've played it all the way through probably 10 times and each experience was different.
