Customers are pleased with the fun and intuitive gameplay, the engaging story, and the beautiful art style of The Banner Saga Trilogy. Many also appreciate the game's strategic depth and the value offered for the price, especially the option to play all three games portably on the Switch. A minor drawback mentioned was the need to download a significant portion of the game content. Overall, the positive feedback on gameplay and story outweighs this single concern.

The Banner Saga is not quite any other game I've played. The tactics of this RPG are tough to master, but easy enough to learn & enjoy pretty quickly. The story borrows from classic sword and sorcery tales yet never manages to feel trite.

Fun Oregon trail-like TBS game

Game essentially has two modes: Oregon trail, where your decisions can mean the difference between life it death for some playable characters and turn based strategy mode where you move your characters around a small nap to defeat enemies. Beautiful artwork throughout the whole game.

I like this game, quite a bit in fact. The hand-drawn look is great, and the writing is well done but... I kind of stress out because the decisions you make actually matter in this game. It's a love/hate thing with me but i can't deny the game is good.

I played the first one on my pac and fell in love. When this came out for switch I had to jump on it. I consider this like an Oregon trail type of game with turned base battles.

Great way to have plenty of Strategy RPG hours available on the Switch. Excellent games that make use of the X-COM style tactical strategy battle system.

Having played only the first game I can say the animation and game play are amazing. The story is interesting and I look forward to finishing the trilogy.

If Mario + Rabbids bored you and you want a difficult strategy game for your Switch, then Banner Saga is a good choice. Only issue is that it is not the "Special Edition" which XB1 and PS4 have.

Nothing wrong with this trilogy, it just isn't my style. Cheaper than buying each individual game on the eShop.

There's some tough decisions and some permadeath. Save files does transfer to the next or you can use their prebuild one.

Great collection of games. If you’re a fan of turn based strategy games like FE, this is a good one to pick up. Just wish all the games were included on the cartridge.

This is a good turn based game. I liked it. It is darker than some other turn based games(Mario & Rabbids Kingdom Battle) but hey... it's vikings.

The fact that you have three games for the price of one practically is great enough. The games are very entertaining if you like strategic turn based games.
