Customers are saying

Customers highly value the engaging gameplay and portability of "The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+", frequently praising its replayability and extensive content. However, some players find the game's difficulty challenging and the controls require adjustment. While the unique art style and dark story are points of discussion, many appreciate the overall fun and engaging experience.

This game prices itself on being very hard. Not your casual game anyone can play. Very dark story.

This is a very fun game but there is a learning curve. Do yourself a favor and look up some gameplay videos around the internet. If you're willing to spend a little time learning how the gameplay works and you enjoy a challenge then this game is for you.

Not for kids! Not for kids! NOT FOR KIDS!! Ok, now that that's out of the way. I. LOVE. THIS. GAME. The levels are randomly generated. What does this mean? Sometimes it feels just right, sometimes it's easy, and sometimes it's bang your head against the wall in frustration hard. But that's the great thing about this game. You can pick it up and play a few levels, die, play a few more, die again hard, and keep repeating the process over and over again. It's just fun. The controls and firing add challenge to the game without seeming unfair. Isaac can move in all directions, including diagonally, yet he can only fire/throw up/down and left/right. This forces you to use strategy when facing some of the more difficult rooms, but again never to the point of feeling like the game is cheating. Great game, lots of replay value, and it comes with stickers!!

Great game where every play through is unique and different. If you have never played this, imagine Gauntlet, but darker! My Best Buy still had first print run copies, which include stickers and an old-school fashioned physical manual.

I have been a huge fan of Binding of Isaac for years. I love that it is now available for me to take on the go on the switch. You can sink hours or just pop into and out of the game if you do t have much time. It's a fun little time sink.

This game is pretty addicting. It's a really fun rogue-like (a dungeon crawler where if you die, you have to start all over—you do retain some unlocks, like characters) shooter hybrid. It has a ton of content—lots of different enemies, bosses, powerups... You'll rarely have two runs that go very similarly. It's an incredibly easy game to pickup and play, for short bursts between something like Zelda, and is also a very easy game to sink hundreds of hours into. It has coop as well (up to 4 players), which is fun, but it can make the game harder as each player you add takes away one of your hearts. The amount of content is incredible—you're able to play for hundreds of hours and still discover new stuff. In addition to the base game, it includes two expansions—Afterbirth, and Afterbirth*.

This game is incredibly cool and addicting. It has the feel of an old school game in the sense that you cannot save your progress. If you die, its back to square one! Mildly difficult but a game you can play over and over again.

This is a very fun dungeon crawler game. The environments and enemies movements sometimes remind of the original Zelda game, but grosser. Some crude humor with the farting babies so lookout if that kind of stuff would offend you. You play using both sticks so it is like a dungeon crawler mixed with a dual stick shooter. Overall great game.

The Binding of Isaac has always been a fantastic roguelike. Being able to take it on the go with the Switch makes this classic game a must own for any Switch owner. Random items and rooms gives this game tons of relay value.

It's an excellent game, but man is it tough! I love the challenge, though, and the irreverent humor seals the deal for me. And the fact that I can take the game on the go with the Switch makes it all the more enticing.
