Different game and it’s actually fun, enjoy playing it

Frantic and packed with content. The game will keep you busy for an absurd amount of time if you're into rogue like. The overall theme is hit or miss with a lot of people so check out gameplay before buying.

I really wish it didn't cost so much more than the pc version but this game is solid and the ability to take it on the go is invaluable. It also has high replay value as no two play throughs are the same.

This game is absolutely incredible! It's randomly generated, plays like a twin gun shooter, the power ups are awesome, the enemies are fun, and the story is crazy! It's also great portable fun as well!

This game is really hard. I mean really, really hard! But it is fun to play and figure out! It's awesome that they included a manual for the game as well.

This is the GoTY edition of BoI with a expansion packs. Be aware that like other rogue likes, it can be very difficult. However it's addicting gameplay will keep you hooked.

A lot of content to enjoy, but discovering it takes time. It's my first time playing this game and I didn't know about its difficulty and how it's meant to be played. Required me to look it up on Google.

Perfect on the portable switch. Addictive and new discoveries everytime. I'm not too fond of the art style myself but it's fits very well together. Very well polished game.

I had originally played The Binding of Isaac way back when it first came out on PC but I really couldn't get into it back then. Fast forward to Afterbirth+ and I can't get enough. There are so many upgrades and new additions and this version of the game includes all the DLC that's been released. I also love how great it is as a portable game as well. Playing on the TV is great but it feels like this was made to be played in the Switch's handheld mode. It offers that quick pick up and play feeling and keeps you coming back for "just one more run". Highly recommended if you've never tried Isaac before.

Have to admit that I came late to the party for Binding of Isaac - however the Switch is IMHO the ideal platform to play this game. Forget about the numerous updates; the awesome game booklet with the nods to the original Legend of Zelda; the sticker pack in the first edition of the game. The game looks great and plays awesome on the handheld console, and with better resolution and more screen real estate, I'd say the Switch is the way to go. Is it the $40 way to go? There's definitely a Switch / physical copy markup. Maybe the random dungeon generator can help you decide.

This is a great game. It has been out an many platforms but the Switch is the definitive version. It has all DLC included. The game is a lot of fun to play on the go with the switch.

But the Nintendo Switch version has to be the best as it is portable and has all new content that is currently out. What you also get in the game case can be called a pretty good bonus if you're into the series (stickers). But if you don't care about that, the game play is the same on all platforms, the only great thing is that it loads fast, plays well, and has all the content in one package. I have the Vita version, but both are great no doubt. It's a great game if you know what you're getting yourself into. It's a rogue-like game that every play through will be different.

I'm new to this game, having never heard of it prior to the Nintendo Switch release. I was skeptical, wondering if it was all potty humor and cartoon gore. Well yes, if you look at this superficially, that's what it is -- BUT this game is deep. When I play, I don't even think of the fact I'm shooting urine-stained teardrops at a worm flopping around -- I'm too busy dodging emesis and spiders flying at me! I especially love how I can play for as long or as little as I want, saving and resuming my current run at any time. This is a top-notch game and I highly recommend it.

Short bursts of pure, laugh-out-loud fun. The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth will thrill you with its' gameplay, and entertain you for hundreds of hours.
