i already owned an earlier version of isaac. take that to mean im a biased fan, or that i have something to compare this to. but i def recommend it. (but not for kids) at first glance it seems silly, and it is... but its also gross and irreverent and crude. the mutiplayer isnt quite what you might hope. its more like having a helper who shares your hearts, and loses your hearts for you. still great game. so much fun, replayability like crazy!

The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ for the Nintendo Switch is not a kids game but it is a fantastic roguelike that is great fun on the go. The game version (Afterbirth+) is currently only available on the Switch and PC and has over 600 items and plenty of characters to unlock and play as including the titular Isaac. It also has a dungeon generator so each playthrough isn't the same and every death and victory adds more to the game. Well worth the cost of admission and a great game for the Switch!

Been playing Binding of Isaac since it came out years ago on PC. This game is endless fun. Each run through of the game is randomized. You get hundreds of different power up items each play-through to get through a tough as nails game. The power ups are so different and combine with each other in unique ways making each play-through unique and interesting. Your strategy changes each time, you have to think on the fly. Plays great on Switch.

I love this game however that doesn't mean it's for everyone. This is one of the best rouge like games ever made. If your not into that type of stuff though heres why you should be. First off, it's relentless. The difficulty changes based on the current run a character is having. The item combination makes it unique and fun. Its a good game and you would be doing yourself an injustice if you didn't get with your switch (after you play Breath of the Wild of course.)

Draws memories of zelda link to the past. I never played binding of Isaac on previous systems but the switch version has all the expansions in it. Some people might be offended by the anti religious undertone but the story is actually influenced by the creators struggles growing up with an overly religious family. The title is actually a bible story about God telling Abraham to sacrifice his son isaac.

I couldn't believe it when I looked at the hours played on The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ on my Switch profile; over 40 hours. I didn't think I'd put that much time, but the addictive nature, replayability and variety keeps you coming back. The physical rewards are nifty too, I'm particularly keen on the instruction booklet that's reminiscent of the original booklet from The Legend of Zelda for NES.

I went to several Gamestops, Walmarts, Targets, I called more Gamestops and nobody had this game available. I looked on best buys website and it said it was available, I checked at the particular store I was close to and it said it was available. I couldn't believe it, so I called the store and sure enough they had several copies of it. The game itself is pretty difficult, but still fun.

Where to start... Binding of Isaac is just simplistically fantastic. This game definitely brings back the awesomeness of old school NES/SNES and to a lesser extent Genesis... I can easily play a few runs on this game and even if I die every time it's still really fun! Not quit sure why it's rated M, but never the less if you are looking for a fun quick game to play this is your game!!!

Replayability of this game is out of this world. It's a "roguelike" so every playthrough will be different. The gameplay is like the dungeons of the first Legend of Zelda, except a bit faster. This game earns it's age rating with a lot of adult themes (such as religion) so I wouldn't recommend this for the kids. Everyone else though, it's a no-brainer. Buy this game!
