To begin, there will be a twist at the end that will churn some folks, perhaps even ruin the entire film for some folks. One thing is certain, Denzel Washington still has it. While it doesn't seem so, there's a lot of gritty gruesome action. If that's what you are into, then this film is for you. In a post apocalyptic world, where folks live day to day to get by and others take to get by, one man is on a mission. Overall the film has a very "cool" and "slick" stylization with it's overly saturated colors. This film will have a lot of people enjoying it, but it's ending is controversial for sure. Be wary and come in with an open mind.

picked-up this non- blu ray disc, because the price was right. this is really a fun movie. a pleasant twist on the post-apocalyptic scenario. great work (as always) from denzel and gary, and strong work from a good sup[porting cast. mostly though, (and the reason that i will own a blu-ray disc of this film) it is visually remarkable! a great combination of art direction and camera work. i could watch it with the sound off, and still keep enjoying it. (weird, i know, but it's MY review)

Regardless if you think the story is good or even makes sense at all. Denzel and Gary Oldman are two great actors that drive this movie. I'm into apocalyptic themes and this is another great movie within that same genre and vision. I enjoyed this for what it was and again, you can't go wrong with these actors.

This movie is an underrated gem. The swerve ending turns alot of people off (no spoilers here) but it works in context of the film as a whole. Interesting special features round out the package. It's always fun to see Gary Oldman do his thing as well. Great buy for the price.

The cast of this movie is spectacular and takes the main actors out of their element. Dark tones, suspense and a unique story that plays on the importance of religion and spiritual beliefs.

This is a good entertaining, well shot with solid acting film. Some people didn't care for the ending but it worked well. Worth at least one look especially if you can pick it up on sale.

Once again, Denzel makes and carries the plot in this sci-fi futuristic apocalyptic movie. A stolic supporting cast in typical scenarios. A sequel possibility at the movie ending.

This was not one of Denzel's best movies, but it was not his acting that I have a complaint about. The story was slow and convoluted at times. Really wish there was a re-do on this one.

I do not think I have ever seen a bad movie that Denzel Washington has done. This is a good end of the world scenario where people do what they have to in order to survive.

Denzel Washington never gives a bad performance and this is no different. Great visuals and interesting supporting cast carry this feature. Cool steelbook packaging.

The only “religious” movie i have ever liked or will watch

Denzel is stunning. Every movement is perfectly choreographed. Mila is perfect for her part. She dazzled with every word and movement.

I enjoy a good post-apocalyptic movie and Denzel did a great job portraying his character. It didn't hurt Mila Kunis was in this movie either.

Denzel Washington is great as always and this movie really makes you think about the future, I lost my copy and had to buy it again

Great addition to steel book collection. Sucks it only has the 1 blu-ray disc for the feature film but extras in the disc are great!

Love the action and futuristic scenes/plot of the movie and I'm not much of a "sci-fi" person. Denzel and Mila make this movie in my opinion.

Enjoyed watching this film in blu-ray. Although the movie is not colorful the clarity provided by blu-ray made it great to watch.

Gary Oldham is great in this movie. Denzel rocks as usual but playing a blind action hero is off the chain!

I really liked the cinematography in the movie. Very gritty and dirty. I also really liked Gary Oldman.

A truly original story, very well performed, with more than a few unexpected plot twists. Great on Bluray and big screen.
