The story is good. One thing I like is your AI teammates would praise you. That made me feel good. haha. However, they need your command all the time. At the scenario that have time to plan, it's pretty good. However, when aliens suddenly appear and attack, they would be pretty stupid without command. If I can allow them to be scarified, that's fine but this is not the case. Once they are all dead, mission would fail and need to restart. That I don't like. I purchased the game for 2 bucks so I have no complain.

Lesser known game that should be more popular. Enjoyed this game very much and ended up playing it for days. Definately going to purchase the other games in this series. Other family members also recommend this game and seem to enjoy equally. Price was excellent also. Probably because it is not as popular.

This game is based in 1962 where communism is facing America...The Bureau is about a far worst enemy facing America however...an alien....You are a special agent that leads your squad in a third person shooter........You defend the human race.....and protect the citizens from the truth.

I enjoy this prequel to the xcom series, a little different from the structured enemy unknown, this allows more open free flow gameplay.

Thsi is a fun video game that many people would enjoy. This is not a game for children though. If you're a gamer, you should get it.

My boyfriend got the first game and really enjoyed it, so he assumes this would be an OK follow up to the previous game.

This is a ho hum first person shooter with a squad you also have to command. The controls for controlling your "squad" are awkward. It does follow the Xcom story line, but I was disappointed in this game.

Decent third-person shooter

This is a decent third-person shooter, but not much else.
If you enjoyed the Mass Effect games, there are a few parallels here to the shooting mechanics and squad-based gameplay of that series.
Don't go in expecting the tactical, strategic gameplay of the recent XCOM: Enemy Unknown, which was much more in line with the original games in the series.
Taken for what it is, it's really not a bad game-- though not particularly novel, lengthy, or beautiful.
You could do better, you could do worse.
