great graphics and story. Combat. leaves much to be desired when compared to souls games

Graphics and very good in this game. Story is good and if you like resident evil and dead space. This is there baby.

The game gave me an old school survival feeling on horror, and I enjoyed it, I know it has its flaws and has mixed reviews but it honestly wasn’t that bad for the price, my advice is if you like survival horror game it wouldn’t hurt to try it.

This is a good game, just the story is little messed up, the DLC explains the "second part" but they can do way better next time, definitely didn't like much the story, i expect something more like Dead space story, but the gameplay is very good, you will enjoy this game.

I've been having a great time playing Callisto Protocol! I've not yet finished it, but I'm 10 hours in, and I've yet to discover the mystery surrounding Jacob, and why he is trapped with all the ghouls in the massive super prison. The visuals are great, there is so much detail. The melee combat is very much overpowered. Upgrading the melee weapon makes every fight easy. The 3D audio on PS5 is superb! I always know exactly where enemies are. On top of that, the sound effects in this game really brings the world to life. The haptic feedback is always a game changer for me. I've rented this on Xbox Series X before I bought it for PS5, and the dualsense controller always brings it's A-game, contributing just a bit more immersion. The game does have a few problems, like the occasional texture pop in, or a random lighting issue. This game is great, but it unfortunately was released with very stiff competition coming from Capcom and EA, so it easily was overshadowed.

Good game and not easy. Must be able to get a rhythm when the fight scenes are there. Once the rhythm is figured out it becomes easier when doing so. Frustrating at times but a very good game.

I love this game. I wanted to give it 5 stars but it just misses the mark for me. I'll explain why at the end of my review. From my experience with the game I didn't have nearly as much trouble with the dodge mechanics as other reviewers had. I did face a lot of monsters at once, four to five I'd say and I got through them with a combination of baton and hand cannon or shotgun attacks. I love the combat, very refreshing and feels awesome. I did have a tough time with the two headed boss two times I faced him but there was always a way out you just have to plan a little bit how to get rid of the additional monsters that try to attack you. They did seem to go down easier as well during these boss fights so that helped alleviate the frustration. The final boss I was worried about from all the negative reviews but it's not that tough and actually quite fun. The ending hooked me in for the next installment, can't wait for that. If this game had some more replay content like resident evil 2 did I would give it 5 stars no question. But otherwise I am going to play through the game again on hardest difficulty and maybe another time in normal mode so that adds up to a lot of gameplay in my book. To me this game is well worth the full price.

Fun game a good fill in for dead space. But its no dead space

The game is nice. It has great graphics and looks stunning. Above Ok story. Enemies are cringe and I hate those mushroom head enemies that spits acid. Overall 8.5/10 game to me.

So this game was fun to play but it had a some things in it that was kind of hard to deal with it it had the worst ending of any game I've ever played now I know why it didn't do good and had a bad rating I like the gameplay but the ending destroyed this game they need a director that knows what he's doing should have should have just made a better ending it was terrible and then to add on the this DLC was just hideous just email one of his best parts ever done a great job loved it

Dead space, and callisto protocol are an absolute no brainer if you know the franchise history, game director, or even love horror survival games!

First time playing feels like playing Dead Space(2008) for the first time! I love all the horror and suspenseful moments this game has!

Its not a bad game especially if its cheap just go in with an open mind and dont compare it to remakes like Dead Space. Otherwise I think its a fecent horror title.

Don't understand why people complaied about this title but it was great I loved everything about it. I wish the maker could have have kept the dead space series and finished the story instead of leaving issac alive and stranded.
