Disc look outstanding. I was dissapointed the sound wasn't upgraded from the bluray. DTSX or Dolby Atmos would of been preferred

This was originally the best looking bluray out of the trilogy. In 4k its fabulous. The imax picture is perfection. Heath Ledger should have won a oscar.

I saw The Dark Knight from start to finish and I loved it. I truly loved at the end where Batman kills Joker and he kills Two-Face and this was one of my favorite Batman movies that I ever liked. I know this movie is close to 8 years since they made this movie back in 2008 and it had the late Heath Ledger playing the role of the Joker and for me, I cried when I saw his last movie. The Joker was the best villain that I ever liked from the Batman movies and I will always remember Ledger for playing that role. Thank you very much and I will recommend this movie to my friends and my family, too and I will see this movie again with them. I will see it 200 times more because it's my favorite movie ever. Yours truly, Zaida Quijano.

The original Blu-ray while having great picture quality still had issues with some of the city scape scenes and the initial IMAX scene. That has been corrected and looks gorgeous on 4K. Overviewed by Nolan himself.

I would say that this is the greatest Batman film ever recorded! And now Christopher Nolan's masterpiece is on 4K. Heath Ledger the best Joker. What more can you say? This was one movie that I had to upgrade from Blu-Ray to 4K UHD. The HDR fits in great. They did a great job mastering the picture and sound. If your upgrading to 4K for the first time, and want a movie to start out with. I would recommend this one!

The first time I saw this movie I wasn't quite sure what was going on. Upon repeat viewing, as you get into the story you start to appreciate the plot and the expertise that went into designing this grandiose story. Watching it again, the experience keeps getting better.
The 4K transfer is something to reckoned with. It is without doubt one of the best 4K transfers I have ever seen. Literally eye candy. The audio portion will knock your socks off. This 4K blu ray sets the example for how a 4K transfer should look.

While plenty has been said about The Dark Knight and how amazing it is, this collectors edition set with the Batpod can frustrate some Blu-Ray owners.
Some of you out there are like me and purchase the biggest, baddest, top-of-the-line edition of anything we are going to purchase, but likewise, we keep our collections orderly and like everything to be neat, uniform, and alphabetical on our shelf. I know this doesn't apply to everyone, but some of you reading this are in the same boat as me.
Just know that this will not go nicely into your collection, as the discs' case is built directly into the figurine. No alternative like the collector's editions for Blade Runner or Hellboy 2 or even the previous collector's edition for Batman Begins.
Great movie, great extras, but just remember that if you're very particular about how your collection is organized, you're gonna have a figurative square peg to somehow get into a round hole.
I WOULD NOT recommend the CE to someone who was as particular as I am, but would gladly recommend it to everyone else.

Being a big fan of this movie, I had to make this purchase. With the advancement of TV's and 4K movies, this movie looks phenomenal on a 4K screen. Some movies it's hard to tell a difference but in my opinion, this does look better then the blu ray I have had for many years. If you do not own this, are a fan and have a 4K player, this is a must buy! If you have a blu ray of this and catch a sale, I would suggest upgrading.

The Dark Knight has always looked great on Blu-Ray. When you get a 4k TV, I shows the flaws. Blu-Ray still looks good but the 4k disc sharpens the picture and fine tunes it so that is its razor sharp and looks as good as it did the first time you saw it on Blu-Ray. You can tell on the Imax shots of Hong Kong, looking at the buildings...its a sharper picture.

I don’t know what else to write about this film that hasn’t already been written. Heath Ledger steals the film.

I am not sure how many Batman movies have been made over the years Some were not the best but this one rises about them all in entertainment value and the 4K rendition is spot on. Beautiful color and dark deep blacks. Had to add this in to my collection and you should to.

This isn’t just any superhero film, this is a masterpiece. Heath ledger makes it what it is. Aside from that, 4K and HDR with this gracefully aged film looks like it was film in this decade. The IMAX is the real treat here though, so expect some scenes to use your whole screen.
