I usually grab the Dark Picture games upon release. In my opinion, this one has the most interesting concept out of the franchise so far. The characters are likeable and the environment pulls you in. The character models can feel weird at times, like your character looking at a different angle when its not “supposed to” I feel like this might be patched in later though. If this is your first entry into the series, welcome! Take your time with the game and put your detective hat on, it can be satisfying solving a mystery within a mystery

Game isn’t action packed, but it requires thinking. It’s like transporting yourself into a SAW/murder mystery movie. For that reason, it’s unique and interesting to play. The game takes about 2-4 hours to get through, and there are different endings to the game (who will or won’t survive). I rated it average because after playing once, would you really want to play again (with little action) just to see if you could have a different outcome? This seems best for young folks having a sleepover weekend where everyone takes turns playing to see who can survive with the most players in the end.

It's a good game, little buggy, graphics are a little low budget but hey it's a cheaper annual game. Fun for what it is!

Another great game by The Dark Pictures
A series of stand-alone branching cinematic horror games from the studio behind Until Dawn.
This time it’s about Herman Webster Mudgett (May 16, 1861 – May 7, 1896), better known as Dr. Henry Howard Holmes or H. H. Holmes, was an American con artist and serial killer, the subject of more than 50 lawsuits in Chicago alone. Until his execution in 1896,

This game definitely could have been better. After The Quarry the standard for these games has gone way up. The story was alright, the characters sucked, and overall the game was very lackluster. Play it if you're a die-hard Dark Pictures fan but otherwise wait for a steep sale.
