Full of great visuals but the plot gets too political

Passable action movie but nothing special. Decent Blu-ray release, though - excellent soundtrack!

The special effects are fantastic but the story line... ehh...

This was a great doomsday prophecy film, that could really happen. Roland Emmerich is good at these types of films (Independence Day). My wife and I really enjoyed it! The acting was fantastic. The special effects are fantastic. All around, a great movie! I highly recommend it! Also, you should check out his new film coming out, 2012, based off of real doomsday prophecies. (Google 2012.)

This is a very good movie! They did a good job making it clear what was going on in the movie, that enabled people to enjoy it more. The whole thing is not WAY "out there", but still cool! (literally!) The acting and story was pretty good, and there was definitely some heavily exaggerated or underexaggerated effects and stunts. The rest made up for the negatives.

Directed by Roland Emmerich, this mega-budget, special-effects-laden epic revolves around the onset of an international series of crises brought on by the long-term results of the greenhouse effect.and all the disaster that comes along with it -- violent hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, tidal waves, massive floods, etc.

This movie about a very destructive and dangerous storm and a group of people trying to survive in a frozen New York City. The plot is okay but the special effects are absolutely incredible. This movie has some of the best special effects I've ever seen. This is a pretty good movie.

Still a great movie, just as I remembered it. Bit preachy of course with the environmental stuff but Dennis Quaid is ever good and the effects are great (except the appalling wolves!) - on which note I was pleased to find it on blluRay at a good price.

This movie is every bad weather movie all rolled into one. This film shows what global warming can due to our planet, if a couple hundred years of weather all happened in about a week. Great Film to buy and watch several times.

I love this movie. It has great sound effects, scene backgrounds and actors/actresses. The story may be fiction but it makes you think if this would ever happen in real life. I would recommend this movie to family members and friends to see.

I love this movie.. is not compared to Armageddon but it is a movie that is close to it .. I love the story behind it .. what if something like that happens.. watch it.. I love it... two thumbs up

I know the science is sketchy but these kind of disaster movies, when well acted can be quite moving. Seeing how they characters react, and iconic landmarks and other famous places destroyed!

Love this movie, one of my favorite disaster films. Nice new package, but unfortunately the Digital HD only works with UV or Google Play

I've been wanting to see this movie for a long time and I finally did. The wait was worth it because it is a great movie. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time!!

Very intense movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It is crazy that something like that could happen. Good job by the entire cast. This is a good see.

This movie shows off the full aspects of Blu Ray. Say what you want about the plot, but the effects are amazing in Blu Ray!!!

Could this really happen? The worst case scenario for global climate change! Cool movie!
