This movie looks fantastic in blu-ray! It is much better than dvd. This is also a great movie with a good cast.

soooo yes there was work done in this movie by computers...but i still enjoyed it. i seemed to get very cold watching it, another iceage comes over the world...a few moments where i was gasping and covering my eyes in disgust by the graphic deaths. Otherwise, all in all it was a decent movie. Dennis Quaid is hot, but only smiles once in the entire movie.

This is a good movie. It's entertaining when there's not a lot on to watch.

This is your typical trashy end of the world kind of movie. They're never great, but they're entertaining, and that's all I expect from them now.

Even as far as globally devastating catastrophe movies go, this one isn't very well thought out. People do things for ridiculous reasons, certain buildings withstand nature's wrath better than they would in real life and the ending is just a sad attempt at making a social commentary. I know that suspension of disbelief is necessary for movies like this, but sometimes no amount of suspension of disbelief can justify the things people write.

I would recomend this movie just to see it. It was good the first time, but it is not a second time movie. To much computer imaging

After watching The Day After Tomorrow, the picture quality wasn't much better than on regular DVD. There were certain parts that looked better, but you can still see the film noise throughout the BD movie.

This is a movie that never should have been made.  The "science" in this piece of fiction is totally unbelievable.  Scientific terms are thrown about in mostly inappropriate means in an attempt to give this movie credibility.  The speed with which climate change occurs is totally unbelievable and the political message is intended to scare the viewer and degrade the industrialized world, particularly the United States. I would only recommend this movie if you want to laugh at the inane dialogue. A real stinker!

The producer & director of Independence Day give us yet another big, loud, dumb, action flick. This time the warnings of a scientist (a wasted Dennis Quaid) go ignored by the government (which include a Dick Cheney-lookalike as Vice President) resulting in global warming-induced storms basically burying half the planet in ice. The only good thing about this film is the chance to see & listen to the heavenly Emmy Rossum (playing the cliched love interest of Quaid's son). The above star is for her alone.
