Customers are saying
Customers are satisfied with the gameplay, citing it as fabulous and fun with excellent graphics. Many also appreciate the vast amount of content and the expansive open world, although some experienced occasional lag depending on internet connection. While the story is considered good, a persistent concern is the requirement of an internet connection to play.

Pretending it's an RPG
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've been wanting an RPG but Fallout 4 is still many months away and I decided to give ESO a try. Thankfully it works pretty well as an RPG and you can ignore all the MMO stuff if you want. The controls aren't as smooth as Skyrim but the flavor of the world is there and you do get use to the new way of doing things. Plus it now being free to play makes for lots of hours of entertainment for just the price of the game which was already on sale!

Good game! But not great.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gameplay wise this game is super fun. It is an action style mmorpg that allows you to explore and even more massive world of Tameriel. PvP is great and there is plenty of pve content to satisfy any rpg player. But the story is where this one is lacking. I found myself not caring for the story at all. Even skipping through quest dialogue just to get back out into the world to explore and fight. Also no monthly subscription fee so that is a plus.

Great game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first things are a little slow but once you begin to level up the game gets better and better. There's a while lot of open world to discover and a plethora of quest and activities to do. Great game.

Elder scrolls but online
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before picking up for ps4 I played beta on pc. Was not impressed at the time because there various mmo games that had more polish. After they worked out bugs and put the elder scrolls polish on this version I can admit it became an additional addiction to my collection. If you enjoyed exploring Skyrims beautiful world try this out. If you enjoy mmos this game is also worth it just for sheer replayability.

Fun game to play with friends
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game play is fun and designed to play with other people. You can solo if you want but it defeats the purpose of an MMO. There are some instances where areas are very crowded because everyone is trying to complete the same missions but its not nearly as annoying as you would expect which is why I dropped it to 4 stars.

Fun free mmo for consoles
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game has gotten a lot better since launch. It now feels more like elder scrolls than at launch. There are still strong mmo tropes like region levels instead of free roaming like in skyrim but that is just how these games are right now. If you want skyrim online this probably isn't the game for you but if you want an mmo that plays more like elder scrolls this a great pay once to play game.

My New Addiction
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you loved the open world of Skyrim, but wished you could play with your friends, this is the game for you. Huge world with tons of locations to explore (many times bigger than Skyrim), endless character building and tweaking, seemingly good community of people. It's nice you can easily group up or solo. The choice is yours. Graphics are not quite as nice a Skyrim, which is understandable given this is an MMO, but the voice acting is excellent, with script for most NPC. Lot's of great Elder Scrolls lore and of course you can find M'aiq the Liar roaming the land. New expansion scheduled to come out in September. I think I'll be playing this for a long time.

Game exceeds Expectations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solo questing is definitely the highlight of TES Online, drawing on the great pedigree of the single-player games. Tamriel’s huge environments are packed full of varied, entertaining adventures and recurring non-player characters who become old friends. One moment you might be battling a pirate attack on a seaside town, while the next finds you investigating a strange occult mystery in a town full of eccentric personalities. There are plenty of opportunities to put the main quests aside and search for treasure, delve into hidden dungeons, and even (my personal favorite) take up a life of crime that leads to having outlaw hideouts as your second home.

Good game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your into this genre of game it's a winner, if you want to really experience what it has to offer you need a lot of time though. Sadly I don't have all that much time myself but from what I've got to play it's a pretty good game, not my normal favorite genre as I'm more into 3rd person shooters or sandbox style modern day games but it's worth trying yourself.

Good but not Skyrim
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.ESO is a solid game for a large multiplayer format style. The story is pretty good. It is weird to see everyone else running around and doing the same thing and if they trigger an event before you, you may have to wait for the spawn again. I preferred Skyrim. If they wanted to make it multiplayer then they should have set it up with local co-op.

If you like Skyrim and MMOs, this is for you
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is similar to Skyrim in many aspects, the combat system has slightly changed but it is still an action rpg unlike many MMOs where you attacks can follow enemies once you've targeted them. The world is gorgeous and an absolute dream to play while on the couch. There are occasional graphical issues due to loading such a large world and all of those who populate it, but they aren't often enough to annoy me. Also there is at least 1 16gb patch you must download in order to play so do be prepared for the wait. Beside this the game is incredible, even my girlfriend play this.

My first MMO
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first MMO I've ever bought because I refuse to pay a monthly subscription for a game. With that being said this is not Skyrim as long as you don't go into thinking that then I believe you would enjoy it so long as you like adventure games. The world is huge the graphics are pretty decent and the story so far is very enjoyable.

Skyrim on Steriods
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is not only MASSIVE, but the artistic beauty is unbelievable. My mother in law came over while I was playing, she thought I was watching a movie. There is a NEVER-ENDING supply of quests for you to perform, so you will never run out of stuff to do. Not to mention, it is just fun to run around and completely destroy enemies. The multi-player experience is what you would expect, right in line with Guild Wars 2 for instance, but this you can play on your PS4 instead of the PC. It's what I have been waiting for since the PS4 was announced, and I am not disappointed.

Have to pay for PS Plus in order to play online
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you can get this on the PC I would do that instead. Game runs great and looks awesome (My wife doesn't stop playing it.) But you have to subscribe to PS Plus (7$ a month or something like that) to be able to play it. This is because of playstation, not bethesda/zenimax though. Not the games fault but you should know before you buy.

Got to admit it's getting better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The initial PC release of this was wretched at best, but with the patches world items(items found wandering) graphics cleaned up, server upgrades, and a myriad of bug fixes and quest streamlining this has become worthy of being called an elder scrolls game, is it the best no not by a long shot but you will get your monies worth

Solid game with its Faults
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Played this game for 2 months straight before never going back to it. While it has the positives (ps4 rpg, online play, decent quests) no system to be able to chat and talk to people leaves you in a large world with players that run around and other than a mike (which mostly is spammed by people yelling) the world is lonely.
